The Thimble Islands are an amazing surprise even for those who have lived here a long time. This house is a rambling wonderful older home in the family for many years. Well loved and tended. Water from two sides and sunsets that are quite miraculous -- along with the herons. You need to think ahead for food, etc. but supplies are readily available on shore. We rented the entire house and welcomed guests coming/going. Wonderful time and great memories. We will be back.
This place was absolutely perfect our family. Our 8 year old enjoyed it as much as the teenagers. No one wanted to leave. It is immediately relaxing, very casual and comfortable. The views from everywhere are so wonderful and it was so nice to unplug for the week and just enjoy nature, good books, simple dinners on the porch, the water, the breezes and kayaking around the Thimble Islands. Thank you Tracy for sharing your home with us. We will be back.
The owner Tracy was great. The house is very comfortable, plenty of room (s). The porch is amazing and the yard perfect for anything. All at once we had swimming off the dock, jarts on the lower lawn, scrabble on the porch, home run derby in the back lot and napping on the hammock in the shade. It’s a great place for a family gathering. If we were to do it again I think we would consider renting a boat to taxi back and forth and for the fun of it. We all had boat envy.
beaches are shared as is main dock; private floating dock or anchorage for your boat 20 feet
