We have loved sharing this cottage with friends and family from all over the world.

Paula purchased this cottage in 2006

Guestbook comments from the owner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your comfortable little cottage - especially the patio, the deer on the golf course, and the wonderfully luxurious bath sheets and bedding. The cottage was so clean and well stocked. Thanks again.

Cleanest VRBO ever

  • 5 of 5

Ideally situated for those who are looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula. The owner was understanding and easy to communicate with. The house is well appointed and most importantly it was the cleanest VRBO house I have ever stayed in.

Super Cottage and Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our 25-day stay at Dungeness Meadows Cottage very much. The neighborhood is quiet and the home is very well cared for, clean, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Paula was very responsive and returned our security deposit quickly.

Our stay was delightful. The place was well equipped, clean, and close to everything. Just perfect.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 2 months because we have family in the area and Sequim is a favorite place to be in summer. Dungeness Meadows was peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to experience. We loved the sun room where we often ate breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. The scenery looked out on a private golf course, beautiful trees and wandering deer. Having a grill was ideal and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We were able to accomodate our family members for a few meals because Paula extended the dining room table for us. Our trips to Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, and Port Townsend for the Jazz Festival made our stay delightful. We should mention the close proximity to grocery stores and other shopping. Visitors should definitely go to Sunny Farms for fresh produce, meat , fish and poultry just West on 101. Port Angeles is only 15 miles away and is the Port to Victoria B.C. Be sure to have your passport handy if you plan to go there. Port Angeles also has some good restaurants, and a wonderful Fine Arts Center on Laurldsen Blv.

Paula was consistently there for us if we had any questions or concerns. This home is one of the best we have rented in the area. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful cottage in Sequim!

  • 5 of 5

We had no trouble finding the cottage. It is located on the nine-hole golf course in Dungeness Meadows. Paula's sister, Mary, came by and was great at showing us all the features of the house and details about the area. She gave us lots of great tips about restaurants, stores, etc., etc. There is also a nice array of information pamphlets and maps available at the house. We especially enjoyed the little sunroom off the dining room. In the early mornings and evenings we enjoyed watching the deer on the course. We walked almost every day on the dike along the Dungeness River near the house. We especially enjoyed Stimie's Restaurant - food was great and the waitresses were so nice. Also had a lovely dinner at the Dockside grill. Another highlight was the Starlight Room at the Rose Theatre in Port Townsend - a nice date night. We hope to move up to Sequim after we sell our house so connected with realtors and builders in the area. It was very helpful to stay in Sequim for a while to get a feel for the area and we loved the area so looking forward to our eventual move. We were so fortunate to stay in such a nice place while we explored the area. Would definitely recommend this house to everyone!

November at the Olympic Cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was a great place to stay. It was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and I even cooked Thanksgiving dinner for our son's family who came from Mercer Island for the day. Paula was a delight to deal with and Mary was quite helpful getting us settled in. we enjoyed the deer on the golf course, watching the occasional golfer, walking around the neighbor and hiking on the dike. We also went to Port Angeles, Port Townsend, and Silverdale, Hurricane Ridge, the beach at Dungeness Spit, the Railroad Bridge and Audubon Society, The Wild Game Reserve and John Wayne Marina. And, we bought a house! We ate at several Mexican Restaurants, the Black Bear, the John Wayne Marina, the Dockside Grill in PA, the restaurant at Lake Crescent, 101 Diner, The Oak Table, The Mariner, and one I've forgotten, plus shopped for organic groceries at Sunny Farms. The weather was sunny most of the time but we did have a beautiful surprise snow and the cottage setting was perfect. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants to spend a fun filled month in Sequim. It's a great place for a golfer, too.

Perfect Vacation Spot.........

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spend summers away from the heat of Texas so look for long-term properties to rent in cool places. This cottage and its location were perfect for us !! The home is fully equipped, spacious and roomy. We were so pleased as it is hard to visualize a property from its pictures, but at this site, the pictures tell the story. Facing the golf course and within walking distance of the pool and clubhouse, there is plenty to do. The owners have equipped it with lovely amenities, including games and books to enjoy. Cable, Netflix and internet were all up and running smoothly. The landlords are very attentive to any problem or need you may have.

Quiet, peaceful and a wonderful spot from which to explore the Olympic peninsula....Hurricane Ridge, Neay Bay, and the lovely towns of Sequim and Port Angeles are within easy driving distance. We highly recommend this property.

Owner's Response: We are delighted that you found the cottage comfortable and well-equipped for your needs. Thanks for your patience in getting the fridge replaced. The location does seem to work well for those who wish to explore both ends of the peninsula since it's centrally located. It was so nice to get to know you and hope we can stay in touch.
