About the property

Spend a relaxing break in southern Majorca, close to the sea (3km).

The cozy, very peaceful country home with large garden - 280 square meters - located 3 km above the small coastal town of Sa Rapita in the well-maintained, attractive urbanization El Paraiso.

It consists of a bedroom with bathroom, a living room with kitchen and dining area.

The living room has a sofa bed that is easy to convert into a double bed.

The rooms at the immediately adjacent covered porch invites you to breakfast and eat outside. Immediately to the porch to another terrace connects.

On the large roof terrace you should enjoy the evening sun until sunset.

The on-site garden, with palm trees, oleanders, lemons, - laurel and Bugainvilleas you can let your mind wander and you can relax wonderfully on the two garden chairs. For cooling of the garden hose can be used.

For natural beach "Es Trenc" there are only about 3 km. Located directly on a nature reserve, the beaches "Ses Covetes" and "Ses Salines" connect.

A small supermarket is within walking distance in the residential area, so you can get fresh bread for breakfast in the morning quickly.

Two grocery stores, two bakeries, a pharmacy and a bank are located in Sa Rapita, 3 km away. On the coast of Sa Rapita there are restaurants of different price ranges, an ice cream shop and two cafes.

More shops, agricultural stores with fresh fruits and vegetables, and two large supermarkets can be found in the country town of Campos (10km). Also worth mentioning are the traditional weekly markets here.

Far away from mass tourism Sa Rapita is still considered secret and is a good starting station to the true and genuine Majorca to discover.

Located close are numerous beautiful bays, salt marshes, quiet street villages, monasteries and the Vista Point Sanctuary of Nostra Senyora de Cura. The Randa- Massif is the highest elevation in the central plain of the island.

Sightseeing / Attractions, which are quickly and well from Sa Rapita from, accessible:

Impressive is the capital city of Palma (just 40 km) with its famous cathedral "La Seu". The magnificent promenade Palmas leads directly to the picturesque old town.

Boat trips around the island offered at the marina of Sa Rapita.

Riding the Magic gate is about 3 km from Sa Rapita.

Salt flats at Ses Salines, impressive salt production facility are located in a beautiful landscape.

Cala Figuera, the elongated fjord-like bay is undoubtedly the most beautiful, most romantic of the southeast coast. Also worth seeing are Cala Pi, Cala Llomards and Cala Montrago.

Banys de Sant Joan has the only thermal spring the island.

Campos is a cozy country town with typical market days, also here lend themselves to some fine houses, such as the Casa Consistorial, in late-Renaissance style (1580-1642) created town hall golden Santaniy sandstone, still lush Art Nouveau building next to the Casa Consistorial at the Placa Major of the year 1907th

Also worth mentioning is the parish church Sant Julia with her Church Museum.

The parish church of Sant Andreu in Santanyi Apostol holds a precious historic organ.

For people interested in geology there are numerous caves. About 200 very large caves are located on the island. Mallorca Caves are among the finest in the world.

The region around Escorca and the areas "Serres de Llevant" in the east of the island and in the south in "Migjorn" offer countless caves. It is advisable to visit the caves near Porto Cristo, the Cuevas del Drach, Majorcan for Dragon Caves.

The whole cave system is 1700 meters long and has six underground lakes.

The botanical garden Botanicactus located in the township of Ses Salines. On 40th 000 m² there are more than 400 plant and 10 000 varieties of cacti.

To rare animals such as monkeys, giraffes, rhinos to experience at first hand, you can log on to a safari tour. The Safari Park Mallorca is situated on the coastal road Porto Cristo to Cala Millor-height Sa Coma.

Els Calderers de San Joan:

Mallorca as 200 years ago. During the tour of the old manor house you are transported back 200 years. Wine cellars, living rooms and bedrooms, stables and barns and native animals can be visited. From the home-made products can be tasted.

For children Mallorca offers numerous water parks.

Aqua Park in El Arenal - huge water park at the motorway exit 13 towards Cala Blava

For water fun also the Aquarium Palma makes. Over 50 aquariums offer a good overview of the underwater world.

Golf: just over 15 minutes away by car, in Llucmajor, you will find the modern Golf Course Marriott Son Antem.

Lovely place needing attention

The property is accurately described with everything in place as listed. The location is incredibly quiet and nearby Sa Rapita was almost as quiet with only 5 or 6 restaurants on the sea front and very little else (that we saw).

We arrived to find the kitchen flooded (apparently someone "must have defrosted the fridge") and, as others have mentioned, the place needs some updating. Plates are chipped, there are 3 soup plates but only 1 muesli bowl ("a bonus" we were told). There are two sunbeds as described - the third is broken. Sundry other minor niggles.... nothing major... but definitely needs a fresh eye to look at what's there and repair/update a bit.

For a very quiet and peaceful holiday we would recommend, if the property were refreshed.

Es Trenc beach is great but parking is difficult unless you are there early and it's nearly all charged for. Access to the Mallorcan road network is easy (avoid going into Sa Rapita and use, instead, the Vinyola road) so we managed to tour the island effectively even from such a southerly point.

We ate a few times in Cafe Brisas in Sa Rapita. Lovely waitress and good portions of tapas.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful quiet location

We wanted a quiet self catering break away and that is exactly what we got. The property is ideally located a 5 minute drive from the closest village where there is a fantastic bakery, and 10 minutes from Campos and a larger supermarket. The property itself is in a wonderful secluded development and the garden and terrace are very private.

The only thing I would say is that the furniture and facilities are a little basic and could perhaps do with renewal but this did not affect our enjoyment.

An easy 30 minute drive from the airport and only 40 minutes simple drive from Palma city, which is fantastic day trip.

We loved the area and found it perfect for a lazy self catering visit to the sun and beach!!

Wir, zwei Erwachse haben einen tollen Urlaub dort verbracht.

Der Bungalow bietet alles, was man für eine Erholung braucht. Viel Ruhe!

Ein schöner Aufenthaltsort ist die überdachte Terrasse, auf welche wir bei angenehmen Temperaturen, den Tag bei einem Glas Wein und Kerzenschein haben ausklingen lassen.

Einen herrlichen Blick hat man von der Dachterrasse auf die umliegende Umgebung, überwiegend mediterrane Gärten.

Der schöne Garten, im Juni stand er in voller Blütenpracht, bietet viel Bewegungsfreiheit und ist von der Größe sehr vorteilhaft, da wir die wenigste Zeit im Haus verbracht haben.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir Duschgel, Toilettenpapier, Waschmittel, Kaffe, Filter, Gewürze und Spülmittel vor.

Die Waschmaschine durften wir benutzen. Zur Verfügung steht auch ein Sonnenschirm, den wir an den Strand mitnehmen konnten. Der Strand und mehrere Buchten sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach, zweckmässig und gut gelegen

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind) kennen in der gleichen Umgebung mittlerweilen verschiedene Häuser und können auch dieses Haus empfehlen.

Es ist sicher vom Komfort etwas einfacher gehalten als andere, doch wird dies auch so korrekt im Inserat ausgewiesen.

Was wir besonders geschätzt haben:

- Sauberkeit

- genügend Kleiderbügel vorhanden

- bequeme Betten

- Sonnenschirm für den Strand

- Waschmaschine

- Nähe zum Es Trenc-Strand

- gute Erreichbarkeit und Betreuung der Vermieterin

Was wir uns noch gewünscht hätten:

- alternative Kochstellen (z. B. Backofen, Grill)

- Haarföhn

Nett aber einfach

Das Haus liegt im ruhigen Wohnviertel El Paraiso. Hier kann man einen sehr schönen, ruhigen Urlaub verbringen.

Man sollte aber unbedingt über ein Auto verfügen.

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war einwandfrei.

Was uns besonders gefreut war, dass wir bereits direkt nach der Anreise - und wir hatten den ersten Flieger um 6.00 Uhr nach Mallorca - den Schlüssel erhalten haben und ins Haus konnten.

Das Haus selbst ist das Endhaus einer Reihenhauskette und hat dadurch einen schönen, großen Garten.

Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr einfach.

Die erwähnte Dachterrasse beherbergt den Wassertank und diverse andere Geräte und hat uns nicht motiviert, diese zu nutzen.

Wir haben die Gartenterrasse genutzt. Diese ist ausgestattet mit Rattanmöbeln.

Unser Fazit ist, dass wir bereits das dritte mal in der gleichen Preisklasse in El Paraiso waren und die anderen Häuser uns besser gefallen haben.

Agréable petite maison

Nous avons passé un très agréble séjour dans cette petite maison très bien agencée, elle correspondait tout à fait à l'annonce. La maison était très propre et le jardin bien entretenu. La terrasse couverte est très appréciable, nous y avons pris tous nos repas. Le quartier est vraiment très calme! Il y a beaucoup de plages dans la région et les petites communes avoisinantes sont très accueillantes avec leurs belles églises, petites places, maisons en pierres, restaurants, bars etc...

Merci beaucoup à Mme KIEFFER d'avoir répondu toujours très rapidement à toutes nos question, les indications concernant la maison étaient très bien aussi. Nous recommandons vraiment cette maison, pour 2 personnes c'est l'idéal! Merci encore....
