Property was clean and the location was perfect

  • 4 of 5

We did not spend much time in the cabin, other than sleeping, because the location is so great and we wanted to explore the fun town of Asheville. I loved that my son was able to bring his dog and there was a great back yard for Bear to explore and get some exercise.

The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that we had issues when trying to shower in both baths at the same time. Even though there were 2 full baths we determined that it was necessary for only one person to shower at a time. There was not any water pressure if trying to use both showers at the same time.

Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cabin for the second time, and still loved it. There was some rain, so the creek by the cabin was full!

Clean & Well Equipped

  • 5 of 5

VRBO is the best way to find just the right match; person(s) to home. The space of an individual home vs a hotel room is the best part. All the comforts and room to streach out. I especially liked the totally enclosed wrap around porch since we were traveling with a small dog. We didn't have to worry about him running off and this would have worked well with a younger child. It was a great home, looked to be new(er) and well equipped with everything! Best way to travel, especially when more then 1 room would be needed.

Great place to stay. Loved it.

  • 5 of 5

First off its location is perfect. It's just close enough to all things Asheville (about 15 minutes) yet its back in a mountain area that makes you feel like you're 100 miles away from the city. We had 7 ladies here for a bachelorette weekend. It was plenty big enough and the open floor plan was fantastic. The place was very clean and everything we needed was there- paper products, dishes, pans, linens, etc... We brought some things because we were unsure but found that we didn't have to bring anything other than our personal belongings.

The only bump was the toilet in one of the bathrooms wasn't working but the owner was very responsive, prompt, and very apologetic. She ended up not being able to completely fix it but made it so we could use it and refunded me a portion of the rental because of the inconvenience. We are thinking of making this an annual event and will definitely be coming back. I looked at hundreds of places before settling on this one and was very apprehensive due to not being from the area and unsure of the trustworthiness of the unknown. However, this place delivered beyond our expectations. Super nice and great owner. This was the perfect choice for us. We are looking forward to returning.
