This is the perfect 'Home Away from Home' in Charleston. Located within the 'Historical District' of this river bound peninsula town, you will be able to easily walk to all its treasured sites. This 'Romantic Hideaway' is on the second floor of a traditional porch fronted Charleston home on a very quiet residential street, exactly across from one of the most beautiful and the most expensive Antebellum Mansion in all of Charleston. The 20'x 15' livingroom has two fireplaces and opens to the front porch (Piazza) with seating for dining, relaxing and a hammock for the occasional nap. The large kitchen is newly renovated with stainless steel appliances, marble floors, granite countertops and includes a washer and dryer. An oversized jetted soaking tub and separate glass block shower star in the bathroom reached through the charming bedroom. Chandeliers or plantation palm frond ceiling fans are everywhere. There is a double sized loft bed for extra sleeping. There is a second spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed and Sunny sitting area and a third bedroom with two twin beds for a total of five beds which could accommodate up to seven people.

We enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying in a neighborhood, which was sweet and quiet, so close to town. The apartment was exactly as shown in pictures and the few times I needed to reach Barbara, she returned our emails almost immediately and was very helpful.

We walked into town and ubered to a few places further away. For us, not having a car was fabulous! We were comfy and happy and enjoyed our stay in the apartment as well as the charming city of Charleston, very much!!!

Perfect Charleston Rental

I came on a business trip and brought along my wife for touring. We both got exactly what we wanted and needed. I was conveniently located to where I was lecturing and it was a treat to come "Home" to a beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment. Meanwhile, my wife loved being able to walk to shops, house tours, flower gardens, etc. We highly recommend it: clean, comfortable, very spacious and everything one could need. Excellent communication with the homeowner.

Spacious living with Southern Charm

I couldn't be happier with my decision to rent this property. It was the perfect size and location for our group of 5 women. We were in Charleston to celebrate our 60th birthdays and had an amazing time. The home is located in a really beautiful neighborhood and is less than a 5 minute drive to all of the shopping and restaurants (King St, Queen St, East Bay, etc). It was also quite nice to have an off street parking spot. The house was clean and tidy and had all of the basics that we needed. It was also very nice to have the porch to relax on during our down time. I would highly recommend this property for your vacation rental.

Beautiful romantic apartment, great location.

This became our "home away from home" for the last few years. It's a very nice decorated apartment. This year we got even a nice surprise, the living room got new wallpaper and some other updates and the shower got a great new shower head. The location is great, downtown but very quiet. I'm sure we will be back.

Great Apartment, Great Location

We were thrilled with our choice of apartments in Charleston. It is huge....clean, beautifully decorated and within walking distance of everything we did. One night we took a pedicab just for the fun of it. We had a car but it never left the driveway, walking around Charleston is a visual treat wherever you look. I highly recommend this apartment and will book it again if we return to Charleston. The owner was great to work with, responsive to questions and answered quickly.

Lovely home in historic neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our Charleston stay! The home was lovely...well-furnished, with large rooms. We spent a lot of time on the balcony/porch watching horse-pulled carriages and walkers go by. The house retains its historic feeling while featuring all updated appliances and amenities. We were pushing a stroller most of the time towards the "touristy" area, and it took about 20 minutes...without the stroller, we probably could have made it in 15 minutes. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home in a wonderful residential neighborhood!
