We enjoyed our stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in a neighborhood, which was sweet and quiet, so close to town. The apartment was exactly as shown in pictures and the few times I needed to reach Barbara, she returned our emails almost immediately and was very helpful.

We walked into town and ubered to a few places further away. For us, not having a car was fabulous! We were comfy and happy and enjoyed our stay in the apartment as well as the charming city of Charleston, very much!!!

Highly Recommend this Charming Charleston Rental

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful stay. We were able to tour historic Charleston from this great location.

Very comfortable, three couples had three bedrooms, two baths plus kitchen and living room. Breakfasts and some meals at "home" ... so much better than hotel rooms with all meals out.

Great Charleston Choice.

  • 5 of 5

This is a home which is over 100 years old and carries all the charm of this special city. The quirks of such an old home helped make the Charleston experience feel all the more authentic. The owner was great to deal with and sent us all the information we needed as well as leaving all sorts of brochures and literature in the apartment. We would sit on the front porch , or piazza as they call them here, and dream of Rhett Butler and Scarlett strolling by. I cannot say enough good things about Charleston....it is so well preserved and everyone is very, very friendly and helpful. This apartment was the right choice for us, large, homey, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it for a trip to Charleston.

Perfectly Lovely and Comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our romantic time away from our kids and work...the apartment is beautiful and surprisingly large. It has three bedrooms and although we only used one of them, we did enjoy the two bathrooms as that is the one room we don't "share" well. The kitchen was large but, again, I have to admit to not using it except for breakfast.....I was on a vacation from cooking as well and the restaurants in Charleston are fabulous. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood perfect....beautiful homes and very quiet. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who plans to visit Charleston and we would recommend it to friends and relatives as well as plan to return ourselves.

Loved It!!

  • 5 of 5

This is a VERY spacious apartment with a great front porch where we enjoyed our breakfast and evening cocktails. The owner had just remodeled one of the bathrooms and it is beautiful. I had read old reviews that said the TV was old but we found the newest flatscreen televisions in the living room and the two Master bedrooms and the apartment was very clean and totally equipped. The owner has the beds made up with high count 100% Cotton Sheets which are very comfortable but since they do not have any polyester ,or other unnatural fibers, they may not seem as "crisp" and "ironed/stiff" as found in some hotels.....but they are very, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a high chair if you have a little one.

The owner was very responsive and quick to answer any of our questions as well as leaving much valuable travel information in the apartment.

All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to visit this beautiful historic city.

Las Cruces

Great location. House appeared very pretty but is poorly upkept. Many things falling apart.

  • 3 of 5

The only great thing about this house was the location. Beds were good but all other furniture was very uncomfortable to sit on. Absolutely filthy under the beds. Wicker carpet hurt to walk on when barefoot. No Radio and only one outdated TV that did not work well. A lot of little things breaking down like door knobs, fauctets, water plug in tub, blowdryer which was absolutely filthy and sticky etc... House only looks pretty but needs a serious overhaul. Way overpriced for what it offers. Not very comfortable or cozy at all. The only thing that made up for it was that it was very close to downtown. For as expensive as this house is, I would think that a big chunk of the rental money would be used to do much better upkeep rather than only working on the cosmetics. My family and I left there feeling short changed. Hate to leave a poor review but it did not meet up to our expectations at all.
