Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday chateau / country house in Icod de los Vinos

This finca is located in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos on the north east coast of the island of Tenerife and is surrounded by vineyards and green nature.

The house with a living space of 45 m² can accommodate up to three people. It consists of a double bedroom and a common living and dining area with a kitchen, which is equipped with oven, gas hob, fridge and coffee maker. In the living area there is a comfortable sofa, which can easily be converted into a sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.

Before the country house there is a large terrace with garden furniture, a small garden and a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards and nature. In the distance you can see the sea and the highest mountain on the island, the Teide.

The house is over 150 years old and during the restoration, special emphasis was placed on the preservation of the original structure. The owner (Robert) lives on the same grounds. Its quiet location, the guest can relax prima here.

Natural therapies and therapeutic massages are offered by Stefani (the owner's wife) in our, lying on the same property practice.

For good advice and help them love is Robert disposal.

The Finca Cueva del Viento is located in one of the best areas of the island. Especially for nature lovers there are many opportunities. The place Icod de los Vinos is about two kilometers away. Here you should definitely look at the old town with its sights including the famous Dragon Tree (Dracaena).

Excellent Property

Robbie will keep you well fed with all the fantastic organic fruit he grows on this back to nature finca, and you will sleep well as the bed is comfortable! To open the door to your holiday cottage and find the kitchen counter overflowing with freshly picked fruits, eggs, lettuces – and a bottle of excellent wine! – was truly special, and delicious!! Very special to spend some holiday time in an original Canary house that feels like you are in a fairy tale with its old wood doors and beams, the house tucked into rambling trees and vines and bushes. Very private, and Robbie will help you get your luggage from your car to your cottage, but bring a headlamp in case you are coming and going in the dark, as it is a fun walk through the finca at night.

Super Erholungsurlaub

Wir konnten Anfang November wunderbare Tage im liebevoll und rustikal eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbringen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Bereits bei der Anreise unterstütze er uns beim Koffertransport mittels Schubkarre da das Ferienhaus weit hinten im Garten liegt. Auch viele Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Land und Leuten konnten wir bekommen.

Das Anwesen ist ein ehemaliges Weingut mit einem naturbelassenen Garten im Nordwesten der Insel nahe Icod de los Vinos.

Große Hotelkomplexe sind in der ländlichen Gegend nicht zu entdecken.

In den Hecken und Büschen leben viele Vögel und Eidechsen.

Die Aussicht sowohl aufs Meer als auch auf den Vulkan Teide ist super und kann von der Terrasse aus genossen werden. Die angrenzenden Nachbarn sind geschätzt mehr als 500m entfernt.

Die Beschreibung des Anwesens war sehr zutreffend. Das Ferienhaus besteht aus einem Wohnbereich mit Küche und einem Schlafbereich mit Dusche und WC.

Vielen Dank nochmals an Robert - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Als Gesamt eindruck kann ich sagen es war für uns perfekt in jeder Hinsicht.

Die schöne liebevoll renovierte Finca hat sofort unsere Stimmung auf 150 grad gebracht.Der überaus freundliche Empfang durch Robert, die Lage in den Terrassen, der Blick aufs Meer und im Rücken auf den Teide, das Frühstück in der Sonne, die schönen Räume haben uns die eine Woche wie 2 Monate erleben lassen. So wohl haben wir uns selten in einem Ferienhaus gefühlt und ich wünsche mir sehr nochmal dorthin zurück zu kehren.

Die Ruhe sowohl in der Nacht als auch am Tage hat uns so zu sagen in eine andere Welt versetzt. Die Nähe zu der Schnellstrasse ist auch angenehm, man ist sofort auf der Piste und ist in einer Stunde am Flughafen oder in Santa Cruz, und trotzdem hört man so gut wie nichts von dem ganzen Verkehr. Natürlich hatten wir auch Glück mit dem Wetter aber der Ort ist wunderschön für alle die , die es gerne etwas ruhig und relax haben und nicht die totale all inclusive erwarten. Vielen dank an Robert und Familie, dass er das so zur Verfügung stellt.

Un petit coin tranquille dans la colline .

Cette petite maison est conforme aux photographies .L endroit est très tranquille et le chant du coq n est pas dérangeant au mois d octobre car il ne chante qu'à 7h45 .En revanche , en octobre , on ne peut pas profiter des rayons du soleil avant 10h . L environnement est très vert , la végétation est très belle . La maison a beaucoup de charme , le lit est confortable , la douche fonctionne très bien . Le propriétaire est charmant et accueillant .Icod de Los Vinos possède un petit centre ancien , pas inoubliable , mais Garachico a 4kms est absolument charmante et il y a de bons restaurants .

Pasé 6 días con mis hijos y mis animales en esta preciosa casita ecológica y disfrutamos de una experiencia que nunca olvidaremos: paz, silencio, naturaleza, belleza y relax, en un paraje natural único.
