Living room with sofa bed for 2, dbl bedr, kitchen and shower room + parking bay

The apartment is located on the ground floor of our house with direct access to an orchard of lemon, mandarin and grapefruit trees. The main bedroom is very spacious; it’s also the most quiet room in the whole house. The living room can easily be turned into a bedroom; it contains a highly comfortable convertible sofa for two. The kitchen is fully fitted and has direct access to the terrace where you can have a barbecue or simply lay down and relax on our deckchairs. It’s possible to park next to our car

Great stay at this Nice apartment

Me and my partner had such a lovely time staying at Olaf and Joelle's apartment. They were really accommodating to us making sure we had everything we need. Olaf's coffee was great to try also! The apartment itself is lovely and so spacious on the ground floor of their beautiful building. It was nice to have a bit more space, having been staying in studio apartments at our previous destinations. The location is away from the tourist area which we liked and it is close enough to the bus station if you prefer transport instead of walking into the main centre. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment as we had a great time.

Schon der erste Kontakt mit Herr Draeger kam sofort und ohne Probleme nach der Buchung zustande. Die Ferienwohnung erwies sich als Glücksgriff- sie war Top und mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Herr Dreager stellte uns eine verkehrsgünstige Anreiseroute zur Verfügung. Außerdem gab er hilfreiche Tipps für Strand und Besichtigungen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

P.S.: Nochmals vielen Dank für den guten Kaffee am Morgen :)

Outstanding!!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and really rated the location of the house. The beach, shops, restaurants, trams and buses are all within walking distances. If you are looking for somewhere central to stay in Nice but without all the noise from the crowd, this is the place for you.

The house was very clean and very well equipped with everything one would need for a perfect stay . We cooked most days in the well equipped kitchen and shops and markets all within walking distance.

Olaf and Joelle were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us and Olaf makes a great cup of coffee.

We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends and family.We'll be back!!

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben zwei erholsame Wochen in der Wohnung von Fam. Draeger vebracht. Die schöne Altbauwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, und mit einem gelungenen Mix aus Alt und Neu eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet,sodass wir täglich gekocht haben. Auf der grossen Terasse kann man in der Sonne frühstücken, oder einfach im Liegestuhl ausruhen. Von der Wohnung kann man gut zu Fuss in die Altstadt oder zum Strand gehen. Die Bushaltestelle ist um die Ecke, und bis zur Strassenbahn ist es auch nicht weit. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Wohngebiet, aber Restaurants, Supermarkt, und Geschäfte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Ebenso der täglich stattfindende Markt.

Die Familie Draeger waren freundliche, unkomplizierte und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Immer einen guten Ausflugs- oder Restauranttipp parat. Nicht zu vergessen der super Kaffee, und die leckeren Pampelmusen aus dem Garten. Die Wohnung ist ein gute Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und natürlich für Nizza selbst, und absolut empfehlenswert.

Un séjour séjour dans un appartement de tout confort et très bien équipé

Très agréable séjour de 3 nuits dans un magnifique appartement (rez de chaussée d'une magnifique maison) très spacieux et parfaitement équipé. Lave-vaisselle et machine à laver également disponibles dans la grande cuisine de type méditerranéenne.

Nous avons une grande terrasse arboré et clôturée à disposition, totalement équipée (grande table de jardin, bains de soleil, parasol rétractable, grand barbecue à gaz).

Les propriétaires, Joëlle et Olaf, nous ont très bien accueillis et étaient disponibles tout en étant très discrets (habitant aux étages supérieurs).

Enfin l'appartement était pour nous idéalement situé, car a proximité de nombreuses lignes de bus à quelques minutes à pieds. Tramway et gare centrale de Nice à environ 10mn de marche.

Tout à été parfait, même la météo ! :) Nous recommandons vivement la location de ce logement !

Happy Days in Nice. - Yvie

We had three weeks in Olaf and Joelle's ground floor apartment, and although they live on the 1st and 2nd floors we still had privacy. They were so welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was spacious, high ceilings, well equipped, and clean. They have parking for a large car which is not always available in Nice. About 1 mile from Baie des Anglais, shops and restaurants, but there is a bus stop (5 mins walk) and a tram stop (10 mins walk), and a well stocked Carefour less than 10 minutes walk.

I miss my morning "real" coffee made expertly by Olaf - beats George Clooney's Nespresso!!!

The flat is close to the centre of Nice; you can easy walk there or take the tram. The most famous areas are ‘la Promenade des Anglais’ and the old town (‘la Vieille Ville’) which are both less than 3 km away from the house. While renting a car is not necessary if you plan to stay in Nice, we believe that the countryside and the Medieval perched villages of Eze, Gourdon or Saint-Paul de Vence for example are well-worth a visit too and for those, renting a car is recommended.

You will be able of course to enjoy all sorts of water sports here. If you’d rather like less popular destinations, then you may want to consider the breath-taking walks around Cap d’Antibes, St Jean Cap Ferrat or in the Esterel (near Cannes).

Nice is located at the foothills of the Alps. The ‘col de la Bonnette’ which reaches a maximum altitude of 2715m and is one of Europe's highest pass roads. The closest ski resort is Gréolières Les Neiges, about 60 km to drive from the house. It's a great location for day return trips. The more serious ski resorts of Isola 2000, Valberg or Limone are all less than 2 hours away from our home. Italy is less than half-an-hour away.

Winter is certainly of appeal. During sunny days, the temperature can sometimes reach 18 degrees. If you plan on visiting us in January, February, or even in March, you will be able also to enjoy the mandarins, lemons and grapefruits which will then be ripe and ready-to-eat!

We provide our guests with guides in French, English and German so that they can best plan their holidays.
