This quaint colombage holiday home is nestled at the edge of a quiet village amidst Normandy's picturesque Orne region. It has been comfortably furnished with a blend of traditional and modern styles and boasts a cosy living area, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
It is well located for guests wishing to explore both Orne's and Calvados' diverse history, including traditional towns such as Vimoutiers and Lisieux; Vimoutiers is a typical Norman market town, which is well known as the home of Camembert cheese. In neighbouring Calvados, the historic town of Lisieux is France’s second pilgrimage site - second only to Lourdes. Whilst here, be sure to visit the impressive Basilica of St Thérèse. Further north, the cosmopolitan resort town of Deauville is roughly 60km away and is perhaps best known as the 'Cannes of the North' as it hosts an annual film festival and is often referred to as the 'Parisian Riviera'.
