The house was impossible to find with the instructions supplied so we arranged for the key holder to meet us and guide us there. Just as well as there are no signs nor indication for finding the property.
When we arrived we were told that the radiators were not working. This was ok upstairs in the living room as there was a wood burning stove and we had brought wood from home to augment any that was there.
Unfortunately there was no heating in the bedroom or bathroom as well as the oven part of the electric cooker not working. Were I being cynical I would say that this was a deliberate attempt to stop tenants using too much electricity. As we are not that sort of people we were upset. We were charged extra for power but got none. Why? The gas water heater proved useless for the kitchen and bathroom sinks but was fine for the shower.
The CD part of the stereo did not work and we could not fathomout how to work the DVD player with the 3 controls provided. Surely written instructions could easily be provided.
The worst aspect of the house was the stair which was badly installed and had very shaky hand rails. OK going up but dangerous when descending and because of this should not be recommended for the elderly [us],infirm or young children.
We were also dissapointed that there was no guest book or literature telling about places to visit, retaurants etc.
This is the 10th winter let we have had in Spain in the last 10 years and the only one we have complained about. It was also by far the most expensive.
The 1 star is for the lovely setting.
