12 km from Århus, attractive location, saltwater swimming pool. This attractive holiday home is located in a farmland setting, close to meadows and folds where horses graze in the summer. The village of Hasselager is situated some 12 km from Århus on the edge the city's outer suburbs in the direction of Skanderborg. Århus is an exciting, vibrant city with plenty of sights and attractions for all ages and its own special atmosphere, which can be felt all year round in the quaint restaurants and cafes, shopping areas and ancient cobbled streets. The city's many attractions include Den Gamle By (the Old Town museum) a living museum of urban history, the AroS Art Museum, the Women's Museum and Moesgård Museum with its famous archaeological and ethnographic collections. Other attractions include the Danish Royal Family's own 'holiday home' at Marselisborg Palace, with its attractive grounds that are open to the public when the Royals are not in residence. The Memorial Park and the attractive Marselisborg Forest can both be found near the palace, as can Marselisborg Harbour with its charming maritime atmosphere and good cafés and restaurants. The 'Tivoli Friheden' amusement park offers a variety of rides and attractions for all ages, while the riverside cafes and restaurants in the city centre are famous for being some of the most stylish in Jutland. The small streets of the Latin Quarter, as well as the modern Bruun's Galleri shopping centre and the 'Strøget' pedestrian precinct, all offer excellent shopping opportunities.
