Privately situated on four gated acres, this brand new 5000 square foot, Balinese-inspired villa has four bedrooms and four and a half baths in the main house and an additional Guest House appartment with its own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The property features stunning 180 degree ocean views, heated infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit, second floor gallery with bar and pool table, media room with large flat screen TV and surround sound, office with fax/pc/wireless internet, a fully equipped gym, air conditioning in all primary rooms. Spa services are also available.
Located on the east end of Tortola, Golden Pavilion Villa (GPV) is a 7 minute walk from secluded Little Bay Beach and a 15 minute drive to Road Town. Direct ocean access is available from the property for the adventurous. The estate manager lives in a house 5 minutes away and will assure your privacy while providing for all of your needs.
Airport greeting, baggage transfers, rental car facilitation and escort to the estate by the house manager will ease you arrival. Just 15 minutes from the airport, a long, winding dirt road leads you to a gated and secure entry. The driveway serpentines through the exotic landscaped gardens, down the hillside to the arrival courtyard. Complimentary arrival drinks and snacks will be served followed by an introductory tour.
Golden Pavilion Villa is a unique property, unparalleled in Tortola. The villa presents Zen tranquility and privacy juxtaposed with modernity and meticulous details. Walking gardens, paths leading to sunken stone retreats and sitting areas nestled under mature plantings at cliff’s edge. Tropical birds ride warm breezes up the cliff to sip from the infinity pool. Turtles, rays and the occasional whale can be seen from the deck. Breathtaking views complement the highest building standards with imported granites, marbles, fittings, appliances and furnishings; Golden Pavilion comforts the eye and soothes the soul.
BEDROOMS: The villas bedroom suites are all self-contained and include private baths with dual vanities, showers, walk in closets with safes, air-conditioning and fans. All bedrooms have French doors to exterior decks with stunning Caribbean views and trade winds. The oversized master bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and private outdoor shower with dual heads. Each room is playfully decorated with its own color schemes; aqua blue, coral, moss and sky. 5 bedrooms in total if you include the guest cottage.

The one bedroom cottage means that more of your family can be accomodated in perfect luxury. The cottage is also ideal for independent teenagers, nannies, family friends or perhaps assistants who you would like to accompany you on your vacation.
OUTDOOR FEATURES: The centerpiece and one of the defining features of Golden Pavilion Villa is the heated infinity pool. Majestically centered on the ocean facing deck, with views east, north and west, the 20' x 40’ pool will be your daily focus. Overlooking the pool and the views beyond is the 16’ carved Balinese dining table with seating for 10. Additional cocktail seating for 8 is available poolside for breakfast, afternoon tea or after dinner drinks. Additional children’s seating is available indoors. The dining deck is protected by substantial roof overhang and a roll down canvas shields the table from the occasional strong winds or inclement weather.
The entry courtyard is one of the villas unique elements. Covered with Jerusalem Gold stone and lined with imported Balinese footlights and statues, the courtyard is monitored by a hand carved, 1000 lb stone Buddha who ensures perfect Karma for all that enter. The elevated entry pavilion with carved seating and comfortable cushions, is trimmed on three sides by the lily and frog pond. Gentle colored lights bathe imported statues and stone wall interiors at night. The courtyard is not just a pass through to the house, it is a destination and wonderful place to read and relax.
STAFF AND SERVICES: Golden Pavilion Villa is fully equipped to accommodate anything from small family holidays, to large events including weddings or corporate functions. The estate manager will be happy to share his knowledge of the islands with you and provide information on restaurant options, sporting destinations, sightseeing possibilities, to shopping needs. Don’t worry about shopping for food; The staff can take care of that for you. Private Chef services are available.

The estate manager Matt, is an expert at taking care of guests and ensuring their vacation is outstanding. Originally from England he has now made the British Virgin Islands his home along with his wife Gemma who is a primary school teacher at the local international school. They have both spent many days travelling around British Virgin Islands exploring and will give you the best suggestions for days out at sea and on land. Matt and Gemma live at nearby Lambert Bay a short five minute drive away from Golden Pavilion Villa. They enjoy welcoming new guests and repeat guests returning as 'family'. We chose Little Bay, Tortola because of it's stunning location. Perfect white sandy beach which is mostly deserted, steady trade wind breezes and the unparalled view. Being an oceanfront property, we have the most incredible unspoiled view.
Enjoy the peace and serenity of the villa whilst being quietly looked after and catered to by your own private chef. The villa offers an incredible setting for what would be a truly unique stay, the house has just as much to offer as the views.

Our family loves to travel and we have been to some pretty amazing places but the Golden Pavillion tops them all! First, let me say that the pictures do not do it justice. Everywhere you look, any direction, you see so much beauty! LOVE the house, the grounds, the pool, the view.....all of that, but what really makes it special are Kate and Tony, the managers of the house. You will find Kate in the kitchen making the MOST incredible food......breakfasts with home made pastries, to delicious lunch with homemade cookies, to the best dinners that I have had anywhere (and you don't even have to clean up!) Tony, the Captain, will take you to some of the most beautiful places and show you things that most wouldn't normally see. Both of them are such an added gift to such an fascinating place! I am still dreaming of Kate's meals and the boat trips with Tony. If you want the "vacation of a lifetime", I would suggest you go the Golden Pavillion Villa. Words just can't capture the beauty and wonder that you will find there.

A superb place to stay. Luxurious, very well run, the chef is the best on the entire island. The managers could not have tried harder to accommodate all our wishes. This property has everything in place for the perfect vacation.
I've returned to Golden Pavilion for the third time - twice as a large family group and most recently as a girls week! Golden Pavilion is amazing in so many ways. The wonderfully secluded setting with the most amazingly beautiful view I've ever seen; the beautifully designed Villa - set perfectly for 8 or 10 people with wonderfully luxurious suites with all the details of the finest hotel; the fantastic infinity pool and nearby white sand gorgeous beach which typically has only a couple of people on it; the amazing care given by the extraordinary Villa Couple - Kate and Tony - who take care of every need before you even know you need it! Kate's a chef who rivals the top NYC chefs and can conform to any dietary needs. Tony is a great guide to the waters and island life!
All in all I give Golden Pavilion my highest recommendation and can honestly say you will be incredibly happy you went there!
Very private estate - gated. An optional additional cottage (with 5th bedroom) is also available for rental with the villa and features a King size double bed, pull out sofa and self contained luxury kitchen and bathroom and a fabulous wraparound balcony. Not rented out separately from villa. Located beneath the cottage is an air conditioned gym for the guests use.
Golden Pavilion is a short drive to the airport and Trellis Bay for ferries to Virgin Gorda, Marina Cay and the North Sound.

Cottage Rental --- $1500/$2000/$2500 for summer/winter/holidays per week (not rented separately.)
Pull out Sofa/beds --- Available for $150 per person per night (for people up to 15 years)
The villa will normally be closed during the last two weeks of August and September.
On confirmation of booking travelers will receive a rental contract which they must sign and return along with 50% of the rental amount. The final 50% must reach 45 days prior to arrival date.
A 7% government tax and a 10% service charge will be added to all rental amounts.
