The property is located in the 'Natura 2000' area, an international nature reserve. It borders the nature reserve 'Husby Klitplantage', which stretches along the North Sea south of Nissum Fjord. This area is a paradise for nature lovers and Husby Klitplantage, where beach and dunes alternate with coniferous and deciduous forests and lakes, offers unforgettable experiences. Enjoy the excellent swimming opportunities on the extensive beaches along the North Sea as well as the clear swimming lake 'Skavemosen' with fine sandy beach, which is especially recommended for guests with small children. In the area between Ringkøbing and Nissum Fjord you will find many artisans and art galleries, where you are welcome to see and touch the working workshops. It is 18 km to Ringkøbing and about 8 km to Thorsminde, where you can buy fresh fish at the harbor. You might also make a day trip to Legoland or Århus.
