Perfect for our trip!

Wonderful cottage! Centrally located to all of our destinations - Abiqui, Taos, Chimaya, Santa Fe, etc. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied (which was excellent since we liked to fix meals after a day's adventure). One could tell that extra effort was used in decorating to make it feel homey. Very clean and well maintained. Even a garage port. "Aunt Pauline" was helpful. Felt like we were visiting family. Can't wait to return.

Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

We just had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this charming little house. Pauline (the owner) has put a lot of personal touches in her vrbo home. This house was very clean and tidy. There were fresh flowers on the dining room table, a bottle of wine for our enjoyment & fresh peaches in the refrigerator for us to eat! This home was in a terrific place for those people that want to be close to Santa Fe, but away from the crowds of people. I thoroughly enjoyed my week there. Pauline and Gary are right next door to help with any questions. I would go there again in a heartbeat. This house certainly provides all the comforts of home, yet in a new area of the country to experience. It is a lovely small home & very affordable.

Home Away from Home

We are from Oklahoma and were looking for a cooler place to visit for a week. We decided on a place that would be close to Santa Fe, but away from the crowds. Our stay in this lovely small home was perfect. It was so clean and so comfortable! If you are looking for a place just to relax and enjoy the area, this is it. The vrbo owner lives right next door. They are there if there is anything that you have a question about, regarding the house or the New Mexico area. Pauline & Gary thought of everything, from fresh flowers on the dining room table, to extra coffee in the kitchen cabinet. Our week away from the heat was absolutely perfect! Thank you Pauline & Gary

A Happy Place

  • 5 of 5

When in NM we normally stay with family, however, for Thanksgiving there were too many of us to fit into Mom's limited space. Since we were there for five days we wanted someplace more homey than a hotel room that we could invite family to. When I checked the VRBO web site, to my surprise, Pauline and Gary's place came up and it was just 10 minutes from Mom's house. I was sure the closest we could get would be Santa Fe. When we saw the pictures and read the reviews we were charmed and I just held my breath while we checked on availability. The cottage was all that we hoped it would be and more. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. The "more" would be Pauline and Gary themselves. They have thought of everything to make

their guests welcome and comfortable and they are just the sweetest. We are still telling people about our stay at the cottage. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to New Mexico and my husband and I wanted to stay somewhere between Santa Fe and Taos. This quaint little cottage just looked perfect and the reviews were all great. The house was very clean and stocked with any kitchen utensil you would want. But the best part of all was meeting the owners, Aunt Pauline and Gary who were immediately like family. My husband and I are still telling our friends that this is the place to stay when in New Mexico and we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The location was perfect for exploring between Santa Fe and Taos.

Special place for relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed in the guest house for most of a week. We were very happy with the home and with our hosts. We will plan to come and stay here again on our next NM vacation. One day-excursion we took was to the Pueblo ruins and Pauline graciously loaned not only a wide-brimmed hat but a long-sleeved white shirt to me. I so appreciated her help. This is a comfortable and cute guest house, with sweet hosts. Y'all come! :)
