This property is located directly across a quiet street from what has been called one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Just 20 minutes from the Punta Cana airport, this 14-unit gated condominium community in the Los Corales / 'El Cortecito' area is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, specialty shops, coffee shops, and public transportation.

The condo is fully furnished for your comfort, and boasts designer-style details like crown moldings, beautiful ceramic tiles, mahogany wood doors and imported Italian kitchen cabinetry.

This third floor unit has high, vaulted ceilings throughout, and ocean views from the living and dining rooms, front bedroom and terrace.

Central air conditioning is complemented by remote controlled air conditioning units in each bedroom. Towels and linens are provided.

Kitchen includes gas stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, utensils and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Beach access is directly across a narrow street which passes in front of the Villa Mare community.

An early morning walk on the white powder beach with crystal clear water will reveal the sun rising over the horizon and local fishermen repairing their nets. As the day unfolds the local beach comes alive with sports activities such as parasailing, glass bottom boats, windsurfing, sailing and beach volleyball. Or relax and soak up the sun, a Presidente beer in hand.

For travelers who like to shop, it's a few minute drive to the Palma Real Shopping center or the San Juan Shopping Center full of boutiques, international restaurants, banks, a movie theater and an upscale disco where you may enjoy the Dominican rhythms of merengue and bachata.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is 25 years or older. No spring breakers allowed. There is a programmable safe for secure storage of valuables. Flat screen TV with 120 cable channels via Silver Cable, the premier cable service provider in the Dominican Republic. Gated parking lot for one car per unit. The gate is operated by the 24-hour security guard. Beach View: From the front walkway, you can see the beach, which is across the street. Ocean View: There are great ocean views from the living and dining area, front bedroom, and terrace.

the most wonderfull holiday the last years...

It was a wonderfull holliday.... very clean appartment and absolut quite.... You can see the beach and by feet it takes you 2 minutes to be at one of the most wonderfull beaches i ever was in my live.

The service from the owner was excellent... and also the appartment was better than expectet( 3 airconditions) .....Thanks...maybe next year again.

No air conditioning in 2 of 3 air conditioned areas....

Sharon and Eugenie were very helpful with suggestions in getting around in Punta Cana. However, the air was out in all of the rooms except one for our whole stay. Ridiculous! The fans/ lights were complicated to use. Either all on or off in two rooms when only wanted them in one room, etc.

Owner's Response: Our apologies for the air conditioning problems. Unfortunately we had to wait for replacement parts to be shipped from the U.S., and we decided to replace one of units with a new one. All four ceiling fans are less than a year old. These have remote controls and they are all working perfectly.

Bavaro beach

Spent 5 weeks in this condo and all amenities listed in the listing were on point. The gate is maned all day and night. The maintenance person lives on premises and is extremely helpful. The beach is literally across the road from the condo. There were fourteen units in total, and a lovely pool. Approximately three feet at the one end and levelled out at around the five foot mark. Something to keep in mind though is the room at the pool area designated for a washroom is not supplied with toilet tissue, so have some in your bag. The other difficulty we experienced was Dominican meats, produce, etc. did not agree with our systems, however that may have been our issue only, not everyone is the same. Over all our five week getaway was successful.

Christmas 2016

Our stay at Villa Maré was great. It was true to the pictures on the site. It is more spacious than the pictures show it to be. The ceiling fans were great. Having them on and the many windows open we were able to maintain nice breezes; keeping the electricity cost low. The pool area is quite nice with a gas barbeque in working order where we cooked up some fresh fish the locals catch daily and sell for very affordable prices. The parking is gated. The beach is just across a not too busy street and is wonderful. The shops and restaurants are all in walking distance. Every morning we'd pick up our fresh bread, croissants or danishes, they were delish.

Delightful Condo on Bavaro Beach

The apartment was very clean, adequately accessorized and convenient to everything. We were surprised as it was nicer than expected, being fully modernized or recent upgrade. Very spacious, and a very simple check-in and check-out process. It had 24hr gated security, pool or just a about 500ft from the Ocean. Internet was included and the condo had a/c in all areas if you desired. Each room had ceiling fans which I feel is very important. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great week

This condo is perfect for a weeks stay. We had everything we needed and the location is good. We could walk across the street to the beach or a few blocks and we had a lot of options to eat and drink.

The $500 refundable damage deposit is returned to the renter within five days of departure, assuming no major damage beyond normal wear & tear.

Rates INCLUDE gas and water service. Electrical service is paid directly to the property manager upon checkout. Most guests spend between US$3 and US$8 per day, depending on use of air conditioning. There are three separate air conditioning zones in the condo, plus ceiling fans, to save on electric costs.
