About this property

Vacations at the North Sea: being woken up by the sound of the sea on stormy days, walking on the beach on bitterly cold winter days, then heating up in the sauna or whirlpool and ending the day in the cozy living room in front of the fireplace - just as nice as spending sunny beach days, lazing on the sun terrace, experiencing magnificent sunsets in front of the house.

A high-speed internet connection with 50 MBits is at your disposal. A DVD player can be borrowed from the service office, depending on availability.

The cottages are located next to the small center of Friedrichskoog-Spitze directly behind the dike, just a few meters away from the Wadden Sea National Park. From the cottage village you are also quickly in Friedrichskoog with its famous seal station, the large pirate playground and the indoor play park in the whale building.

On site, there is a charging station for 2 e-cars (for a fee) in the large parking lot. Directly at the houses these can not be charged.

***As part of the required dike reinforcement, the dike in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will receive a new profile from April 2024 until probably the end of 2025 to withstand the demands of climate change. The bathing beach in Friedrichskoog-Spitze is NOT usable during the entire construction period.

The spa park will also be redesigned starting in the fall of 2023 and additional offerings will be added. These include, for example, a widened dike crest path, spacious terraces including a panorama box, and a dike and park grandstand with seating steps for lingering. As early as spring 2024, the completed event and play area of the spa park will provide a varied alternative to the bathing beach.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 22.00 per person or bring their own. Ungepflegt und schmutzig

Wir waren über ein langes Wochenende Gäste in Friedrichskoog mit 3 Kindern und zwei Hunden. Das Haus wirkt von außen ganz nett, allerdings ist das weiße Holz hier und da abgeplatzt ( als wir anreisten war der Maler gerade zugange). Die Einrichtung war schlicht und sehr einfach gehalten. Die Küche war mit einem vermutlich irgendwann einmal weißen Wasserkocher ausgestattet. Dieser klebte von außen und auch das Geschirr sowie der Rest der Küche waren nicht sauber. Der Fußboden klebte und Barfußlaufen war eine Überwindung. Zumindest die Betten waren einigermaßen sauber. Das allerschlimmste war jedoch das Badezimmer, welches augenscheinlich Luxus vermitteln sollte (Sauna und Whirlpoolwanne). Es stank bestialisch aus dem Abfluss und dem ranzigen Lüftungsschacht. Am Wasserhahn klebten Reste von Zahnpasta und die Dusche bestand aus einem viel zu langen Vorhang und einem Brausekopf aus dem kaum Wasser kam, weil das meiste Wasser vorher aus dem Schlauch spritzte. Am Handtuchhalter hing ein ekelhaft, dreckiger Abzieher mit Staub und Haaren sämtlicher Vormieter, mit dem man das überschwemmte Badezimmer nach dem duschen trocknen konnte. Wir sind selbst stolze Besitzer eines Ferienhauses auf Texel und waren von unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr enttäuscht! Unsere Kritik beim Parkmanagement ergab leider keine Lösung.
