Great position, but some issues
Pluses: great situation, spacious, comfortable, good view, parking nearby. Vaison is very attractive and a short walk away.
Negatives: we had to buy hand soap and washing up liquid after we’d arrived, which was irritating after a long drive. The main bathroom is in great need of refurbishment and the shower attachment over the bath doesn’t have a screen, so can’t be used as a shower. We have had a dishwasher and hair dryer provided at other rentals. It was unseasonably cold during our week and heating is available at 15 euros a day. 105 euros a week isn’t far off what we pay a month for gas and electricity for our biggish house in the UK and I have trouble believing this reflects the actual cost.
Overall: if you are in love with Vaison stay there, but there are better places for the money. We understand that the owner is selling after this season and I can understand the unwillingness to put any more money into the place.
