In nearby Sønderborg you can very well stroll, shop and visit some historical sites. The most famous are Dybbøl Mølle and Sønderborg Castle. The harbor is also worth a visit.

Nearby is also the Danfoss Universe adventure park, here guests of all ages are very well entertained with physics and technology. Along the coast there are also good fishing grounds. The only question is who will make the best catch?
