Fantastic House on Gorgeous Lake

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! The location was perfect! The house was clean, comfortable, bright, and had everything we needed. Our group had 9 total with 5 adults, 2 older teens and 2 pre-teen. We spent the week swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking, hiking on a fantastic trail nearby, and relaxing! We had great views of incredible sunrises. The fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows. The owner, Leslie, was so nice and we really enjoyed getting to know her. We've rented many lake houses and this was our favorite!

Our whole family loved being at the Boat House!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was delightful and everyone loved being right on the water and having so many options! Swimming, boating, reading outside, reading inside, playing cards and games, cooking, and enjoying conversation. The large open living room and kitchen was the perfect gathering spot for visiting friends and family. The ceiling fans provided great air circulation both up and downstairs and we all loved the familiar sounds of lake water lapping at the shore, breezes blowing and loons calling. Thank you for a wonderful week. We cannot wait to be back next summer!

PARADISE on Long Lake

  • 5 of 5

For the past Four years the Wife & our Two Dogs pack-up & head North for a lil RnR & to celebrate our Anniversary . We've used HomeAway to stay at other Lakeside homes in NH & ME . As soon as we pulled up to The Boathouse we knew we had struck Gold . It far exceeded our expectations . As described in the name , the house is ON the Lake .. open the back french doors walk a few feet , & dive into beautiful Long Lake . The Town of Bridgton has plenty to do i.e. Movie theater - a Drive-in , shops & restaurants ... I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone ... & I know for sure we will be back .The homeowner Leslie was a most gracious & pleasant host .

Idyllic stay

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been more pleased with this historic restored boathouse. The peaceful lake is located just off the deck which wraps around the house on three sides. The furnishings are of high quality; the kitchen provides all the equipment you need for a family, and there is a grill outside, a hammock, and many deck chairs for sitting and visiting or watching the calm lake. The captains beds in the upstairs bedrooms are very comfortable, and we heard the loons every evening, and saw them up close each morning in the lake. We felt lucky to stay in this charming, beautiful home, and would return again. Highly recommended.

Loved the boathouse just as much if not more the 2nd time!

Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation with family friends! We really appreciated your quick to response to questions before we arrived and your attention to special details for our visit. I really hope we can come back again! Special touches were the baby ducks that swam by every morning and the Loon songs at night. Can't say enough about how much we loved our stay but we want to make sure there will be a spot for us to return!
