The apartment situation is perfect for a young couple or small group of friends (I would suggest a maximum of 4 people) to explore the city on foot or to use the excellent rail system which is on your doorstep.
The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no lift, so it is probably not suitable for the elderly or for infants. The apartment is clean and airy, it has all you will need for a comfortable stay.
When we stayed, the area was in the grip of a heat wave which meant leaving the windows open all night, which was fine except that this allows the noise from the train station to disrupt your sleep, a fan in each bedroom would be a good idea in the summer. It is a 10-15 minute stroll into the town centre and the old town which lay on the opposite side of the station, cafe's bars and restaurants are everywhere both inside, and as soon as you leave the station (which also has 2 very handy supermarkets). there is also a very nice Italian restaurant less then 200m from the apartment near the entrance to the station subway.
We didn't see much of the owner as she was in London most of the week, but she seemed very helpful. I would recommend this apartment as good value and a good base, but for the young and fit.
