If you want to feel like you are a true New Yorker this place is it! Close to a ton of tourists stuff, Or if u prefer to just hang out. Restaurants & shopping are so close & bar across the street is great! Awesome service & food! You can walk to a ton of stuff or you can catch a cab. We had a great time & would stay here again! 😊🎄
Our party of 6 loved our stay here, it was a home from home. Caesar was so nice & helpful with any queries we had. The location of it is 2nd to none. The ONLY reason I've not given 5 stars is the stairs... They were a bit of a killer, especially with luggage. In fairness, we only climbed them once a day after a hectic day out but still, they're hard work. Otherwise... There is only fabulous things to say. The West way Diner is just a one minute walk away for days you're not in the mood to cook breakfast & is really good. The apt. is surrounded by food joints & is a 5 minute stroll to Times Square. Every amenitie you need is supplied in apt. Hairdryers (2), iron, washer/Drier, Dishwasher, Towels, Main TV has literally everything you can think of... Internet, Netflix etc. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.
My brother and I from St Paul met my 2 sisters and niece from San Diego and one sister from Seattle for a 6 day tour of NYC. Our Stay at rental#225739 was great. Very Clean 3 Bedroom and 2 baths. We were all pretty fit so did not mind the steep climb up to the apt. Cesar was polite and attentive to our requests, although was not much that was lacking. We walked or took subway almost every where. Many restaurants in walking distance . I especially liked the Landmark Pub at 626 11th ave only 2 blocks away. Theaters were also walking distance. We saw "Kinky Boots" it was a fun show. I would also recommend the Rockefeller Center Tour 75 minutes ,very informative and animated tour! From either airport you can get a Super Shuttle that brings you right to your door and will pick you up at the door for your return home.
We would definitely request this unit again!
Been coming to New York City for several years and have always stayed in hotels. I have found a new place to stay in this beautiful, clean, well managed apartment in the center of everything. Short walk to transportation, markets, Time Square, sight seeing and hundreds of great places to eat. The hustle and bustle as well as street sounds made us feel like actual residents. Thanks to Carlos who met us at the apartment and made us feel welcome.
Can't say enough about this great spot! We had six adults in our group, including a pretty spry 84-year-old woman who was able to make it up to the 4th floor with just a bit of resting on the landing. Very clean apartment, fresh flowers, immaculate white sheets & duvet cover, clean appliances. Very close to theater, plus excellent food at the Italian restaurant below. We appreciated Carlos' flexibility and responsiveness. Agree about fixing the kitchen floor - but in general a wonderful visit!
My family of 4 stayed during the week of St. Patrick's Day, and the location of this Apartment should already have you reserving it! Literally 75 feet from a great variety of food, cleaners for pressing wrinkly clothes, blocks from more dining in every budget and style, theaters, and a few Irish Pubs! But by far the best dining was Cara Mia for dinner right downstairs!
The space is large and workable with enough bedrooms to be able to disappear, or sleep in while the rest of the place is busy doing other things. I suggest the front bedroom (9th Av) for the heaviest sleeper, as the street noise is fairly loud throughout the night, but is constant at the front of the apartment. It's New York--no points off--just a hint. The front bedroom also has a fire escape off the window with a perch perfect for sitting and having morning coffee while Mid-town bustles below.
We never met Cesar, but Carlos was very helpful (A leaking shower head was fixed within a day) and always available.
As far as the touch-up goes, we feel nit-picky even mentioning some of these, but would have welcomed this same info before we stayed. So here goes. First and most often noticed: One of the marble tiles in the kitchen obviously had something large dropped on it. It Cracked, and it seems over use has developed a pothole that as clumsy midwesterners, we seemed to always be stubbing out toes in. Once I stepped on the tile (It's RIGHT THERE, you can't miss it) and a large chuck of it stuck to my foot and it pulled out stuck to my foot, which I then preceded to step on to the big chuck. Ye-oww. I replaced the piece but it's gonna get somebody again.
In short, the place needs a mechanically inclined person to give it a once-over. Fix the fixtures, properly clean the marble to get rid of the streaks, fix a few closet doors that don't slide, and wipe down all the walls.
Might also be time to freshen up the pillows, which are worn on the corners and give an appearance not reflected in the pictures.
It's a great place, but it could be a perfect place. It seems like the turn-over is so fast they don't really get a chance to get in there and take care of stuff like they could.
