Historic Seneca Lake Lakefront Property Available. Located on the historic Kashong Point area of Seneca Lake! One of the only walk-out, level shorefronts on the entire lake. The lake is only 20 level-feet from the front porch door!
3 miles from the first winery on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
Plenty of private land to walk, hike, play tennis or basketball, located directly behind the cottage within a secluded grove.
First Floor: The cottage features a completely renovated (2008) first-floor bathroom featuring a full size shower with integrated seat and Speakman shower heads. All the comforts of home, including a full kitchen with table and a walk in pantry. Hardwood floors on the first floor lend themselves to the gas fireplace and bead board wainscoting, as well as the thick leather and mission oak furniture.
The front porch is the jewel of the property. It features three sides of fully-screened windows and was updated in 2016 with a 16-foot double sliding glass door. There is another dining table as well as a sitting area to enjoy playing cards at night, or sharing a glass of Finger Lakes wine. There are two ceiling fans to help move the lake breezes.
Second Floor: All new luxury mattresses throughout (2017). The second floor features two large interior bedrooms (1 Queen bed in each), another fully renovated (2008) bathroom featuring a relaxing tub. Two sleeping porches feature two full-sized beds in one room, and two twin-sized beds in the other room. Whole-house exhaust fan for lake breezes. Central air conditioning added to the second floor bedrooms in 2017 for those extra sticky summer nights!
Fully renovated and expanded dock (2017) with seating decks on both ends. Lake side deck includes wrap around step down for easy boat boarding and docking.
In addition to the booming industry of wineries, breweries and distilleries around the lake, Geneva offers some of the best dining in Upstate NY!
Shopping and groceries are located in Geneva, 8 miles North on Route 14, and Penn Yan, 6 miles South, although there is a gas station and convenience store located directly across Route 14 on the main road.
