Stanley View Cottage is a fully equipped executive style cottage situated on 5 acres of prime cottage country in Stanley Bridge (319 Douglas Road). We are located 5 minutes(drive)from Cavendish , 20 minutes from Summerside and 40 minutes from Charlottetown- including the Charlottetown Airport.

Our property provides access to 800 feet of shoreline on the beautiful and popular Stanley river. Sit back and relax on our new deck and enjoy the wide open view of the river or walk down to the dock and jump in for a swim, or try the pedal boat (life jackets provided). Kayaks may be available to loan on request.

We provide the perfect place for your fun filled family vacation or a quite retreat. There are 3 spacious bedrooms(with amazing window views) and 2 full baths, open concept kitchen/dining room/ living room and a laundry room at the back entry. The double car garage has been popular for barbequing and for those who like to cook their own seafood there is a mussel pot/seafood cooker in the garage. Fresh seafood is available minutes away at the Stanley Bridge wharf.

We provide indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. We have rented this cottage for the past 14 years and have had great response from renters. Many have fallen in love with the property and now have their own cottages in the area.

The Perfect Cottage in the most magical place

This was a wonderful little cottage that is equipped with everything you need to have an amazing stay at PEI. This cottage is in the perfect location with a gorgeous view. We arrived to a very clean cottage which had everything we need even treats. We were just minutes from Cavendish and the Green Gables House along with some wonderful beaches. North Rustico is a lovely little fishing village with an amazing restaurant called Blue Mussel Cafe that we just loved. The cottage is located on a quite lovely country road, but still only about 30 minutes from Charlottestown. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the peddle boat. My children enjoyed swimming off the dock and playing in the garage that had so many fun games. The adults in the house loved having a glass of wine on the deck each evening. This was the best vacation our family has ever taken.

The property was everything and more than the description on VRBO.

From the moment of our arrival we felt totally at home. The owner had made us feel very welcome with the flowers, wine, etc. The home had everything you could ask for and the view from the deck was fantastic and relaxing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and will surely return again

Wonderful relaxing holiday in a beautiful home!

Sorry for our tardiness leaving a review. We spent a relaxing week in this beautifully maintained and spotlessly neat home with our two sons. Great communication with Bernadette (had to change our week due to work commitments with no difficulty). Home is located down a quiet road on a beautifully manicured, private waterfront lot. Great place for a morning or evening stroll. Wonderful welcome snacks (incl. homemade cookies and wine!) provided by the owners. Everything you need is provided, incl. washer/dryer. A short drive from Cavendish Beach (park permit provided by the owners). The attention to detail, incl. a cute welcome sign, was greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Campbell family!!

Amazing!

This cottage is fantastic! The owners are amazingly helpful and the place is amazingly clean. There was everything that you could possibly need: beach towels, toys, chairs, play pens, toys, storybooks for kids, all cooking utensils and pots! Treats were left by the owner and they were specific to our dietary needs. We can not say enough good things about this place! This is our first time with vrbo and the standard has been set very high!

Beyond Expectations!!!

Not knowing what to expect we packed everything necessary to ensure our week would be without wanting. What an absolutely wonderful experience when we arrived and found everything necessary AND MORE waiting for us. From refreshments to treats, utter cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, an excellent BBQ with added accessories for cooking shellfish, fabulous deck and deck furniture, bedrooms perfectly laid out and spotless bathroom (with wonderful soaps that the girls loved).

From the grounds being fully manicured to the postcard views along the Stanley River we found ourselves immersed in a week that was very much beyond our expectations.

Thank you Bernadette, Andrew and Mary and we look forward to being with you again next year.

Plenty of outdoor activities for children/adults including Sandbox with sand toys, swing set, Bocce Ball, Basketball net, swimming is great down at the dock, peddle boat and life jackets available, inquire about kayaking. We are located with in minutes of some of the greatest golf courses. Deep Sea fishing excursions also take place close by. Fire Pit is available when conditions are safe.

Please do not leave a lot of food in the fridge and no more that 3 loads of laundry upon check out . All games /toys should be returned to where they were originally found.
