With beach-inspired décor and hardwood floors throughout, Phenomenon is a charming three-bedroom cottage conveniently located near the croquet lawn, gym, play ground and east side pools. The Tupelo Pavilion is just a short stroll away and offers access to the acclaimed sugar-white sand beach.
This serene retreat with coastal-themed furnishings, includes a front porch that welcomes you into an open plan living and dining area. Downstairs is decorated in natural colors, offers a flat screen TV, DVD and Apple TV. A fully-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, seats three at the breakfast bar and eight at the dining table. Downstairs includes a half bath and offers access to the two car private parking at the rear of the cottage. Four ’SEASIDE' cruiser bikes are available (a separate user agreement is required).
Upstairs, the second floor includes a KING master bedroom with a private bathroom (pair of vanities, shower only). The QUEEN guest bedroom and the bunk room with double TWIN beds share a hall bath (pair of vanities, bath & shower). Each bedroom has a flat screen TV. The tower room offers seaside and sunset views - bring a cocktail and relax.
If ‘Phenomenon' is unavailable, its sister cottage 'Something Else’ at 744 Forest Street (VRBO #592436) may be able to accommodate your Seaside stay. This three-bedroom cottage offers a similar style to Phenomenon and is located near the western pool and Pensacola Pavilion.

Wonderful house. We are a family of 4 and the house was a perfect size, could even hold a couple of extra kids if we were brave enough. I always like to read about details so I'll add a few. First is the location. If you've never stayed in Seaside and you look at the map, you would think this house was a bit away from the beach and town square. It is not. It's a short, lovely 4 minute walk to both. Less than 50 yards to the playground and family pool, even shorter distance to the adult pool. But the best part of this location was the lack of traffic. My 10&12 year old boys really took advantage of this on their bikes. So many places to just ride without passing cars. As much as we enjoyed the beach and other amenities, this was their favorite pastime. Back to the house-loved that the kitchen was open to the dining room and den. We had guests over a couple of nights and it was nice to be able to prep a meal and socialize at the same time. Beds are very comfortable, especially the bunks, and while
Nicely furnished, well equipped house, well laid out, and convenient to the adults only pool for sneak-aways during the kids' naptime. The only thing I'd point out to prospective renters is that the outdoor shower, bike parking and "place to dump your sandy stuff from the beach" are on the back of the house, along with the keypad entry door. The screened porch is on the front of the house, and since the houses are so close together, you can't walk around the house to enter through the screened porch, nor can you conveniently use the screen porch to store your beach towels between trips to the beach. But, hey, it's Seaside and these things are trivial when you are there!
We had a fantastic stay Thanksgiving week. Outstanding location-close to the park and field for the kids to play. Quick walk or bike ride to the shops and restaurants. The house far exceeded our expectations - everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. By far one of the best rental homes we have visited. Beautifully decorated and lots of thought has gone into every detail. Loved our stay - all in all everything was perfect and we can't wait to stay at this house again on our next trip!
We have stayed in Phenomenon for the past 4 years and absolutely love it! It is the perfect house for two families and our kids love how close it is to the pool, basketball court and field! We will definitely stay again next year!
This was our second stay at Phenomenon and it was just as great as last time. The house was very clean and in good condition. The home is in a great location for families with children (close to the playground and pool). We recommend buying beach chairs and boogie boards from the shop around the corner of 395 and 30A to avoid paying the beach vendor's $40/day charge for 2 beach chairs and umbrella. We ended up leaving the chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards for the next lucky guests. We hope to return again.
This is a good location just a few blocks from the beach. We walked with our kids, ages 3 1/2 and 2, to the beach daily. The accommodation were quite and comfortable. The nice surprise is that the house is next to the park, which our kids enjoyed when not on the beach.
We would come back to this location.
