With an enormous roof terrace and gorgeous panoramic view, the main house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) includes a large open living room with fireplace and a built-in modern island-kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the pool and garden.
In addition, the just in 2014 lovingly renovated, guest-house casita with a bedroom upstairs and stunning panoramic view from its large windows, a bathroom and a further living room on the ground. This room could be converted to sleep the ninth and tenth persons its double sofa bed.
The proprety is fully self-sufficient energy-wise, with a sophisticated solar and wind-power system and support generator. The pool is accessible by a wide staircase and drops flat, so that children can stand. Pool-fence securing means are not in place. The garden is newly planted with palm trees, olive trees, lemons and many flowering shrubs. In addition, there is a very large spacious lawn area for ball games and rolly-polies. Also new is built in a large 3-way swing, with which you can rock high in air.
Barbecue and terraces inviting you to relax - here you can loosen up and let your mind wander or enjoy a good book. The garden is lit by many small solar-charged lights giving the garden a twinkly-wonderful atmosphere.
The kitchen is modern and functional, with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The central island has a large gas stove. The washing machine is under the iron staircase next door, in the Guest Casita.
Of course, the house has a Wi-Fi network.
You can also turn on TV and the powerful music system.
Porreres itself is a very original Majorcan village. In the restaurants, English is usually understood - spoken German being less likely. Several good restaurants also offer delicious and very cheap lunch menus. There are 4 supermarkets, one of which is large and even has a very good selection of fish. Once a week there is a market, offering both local fruit and vegetables as well as clothing and accessories.
The location is very central - you can both have a 20min drive to the north, there enjoying the few long beaches, explore the inlets and harbors of the East or the dreamy mile-long sandy beaches of the south, such as Es Trenc. Similar to Palma, all this is under a half hour's drive, namely three quarters of the island.
Those looking for seclusion and tranquility in a contemporary setting and wanting adventurous experiences of the island's diversity, will find this to be the ideal choice. The owners live part of their year here, so very good and high quality equipment is provided. Ideal occupation of the property is up to 8 people - so a large family or 2 4-head families. However, this can be expanded as needed up to 10 people.
The finca is equipped with an alarm system.
We the Schneidewinds are a family of four, and bought the house in May 2014, overjoyed and making use of it quite often with friends also visiting us.
We appreciated the modern construction with large windows and great views from its terraces and upper floors, falling in love instantly. The guest house originally built 80 years ago, was in a poor state indoors and has received a complete renovation, now matching the main house in its cross of contemporary&rural style.
Its upper floor now also enoys a far-reaching view of the south-eastern plains and its mountian range.
Half the mediterranean garden, will as of March include a large lawn for soccer and rolie-polies on two sides of the medium-large sized swimming pool.

The property perfectly blends its modern white architecture with the brown colour of the incredibly peaceful surrounding country side, with plenty nature of its own within its garden's walls, namely a wide variety of mediterranean flora.
Die Finca ist wirklich schön. Ihre Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und modern. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefühlt. Haus, Nebenhaus, Pool, Terrasse und Garten mit Rasenareal lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wohnen zwischen Palmen und Weitblick auf die Bergkette bei Felanitx. Dieses Domizil liegt fernab allen Trubels und ist der perfekte Ausgangsort für die Entdeckung des Südostens der Insel. Der kleine bäuerlich gebliebene Ort Porreres hat zudem alles für die kulinarische Versorgung, Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkt, Wochenmarkt und kleine Läden.
Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!!!
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Anlage ist super gepflegt und das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, sogar Spiele, eine Schaukel und Strandtaschen gab es. Wir (Großeltern, Eltern und 4 Kinder) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der nächste Ort, Porreres, ist nah und hat Bäcker, einen großen Supermarkt, wo man alles bekommt, und leckere Restaurants. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Sehr gut eingerichtetes Haus in einer idylischen Umgebung. Grosszügiger Garten mit sehr viel Umschwung. Für Kinder ein ideales Feriendomizil. Der Strand ist in knapp 25 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Eine kleine Perle auf Mallorca.
