Large quality built condo in complex developed by Snowbird in the early 80's. Excellent Location!
Our family and friends stayed on this spacious condo for 3 nights. We have more than enough room for our group.
We ran into some minor issues, which were reported immediately to the property manager such as the following:
1) a leak from under the sink in the master's bedroom,
2) the switches for the vent and heater in the master's shower was intermittent
3) 2 out of the 4 garage door openers not functioning, and
4) the coffee machine was defective.
The property manager was quick to provide some temporary measures to fix the issues we reported. I forgot to mention
that the lights at the master's restroom was flickering and it takes about 15-20 seconds to fully light up.
Suggestions/recommendations for the owner: please upgrade your toaster (it is so old, not clean and rusty), and coffee maker (buy a new one). Also, instruct the house cleaner to dish wash ALL kitchen utensils, plates, cups, glasses, bowls etc.etc. and clean ALL the cabinets
shelves, and trays as they were dusty. We saw a bug in the shelf for the chopping boards and stuff. Likewise, please provide extra garbage bags especially for the kitchen.
Overall, we had a great stay. We were able to cook some breakfast before we headed out to explore Salt Lake and nearby attractions. We literally were out of the condo during the daytime (only come back around 9:30PM or later) and it's good to come home to rest in comfortable beds and pillows, and clean beddings.
We had several questions and concerns before arriving in Salt Lake City in which both the owner and the property manager did a wonderful job in answering and assisting us.
We found the property to be clean and perfect for a family reunion (especially when combined with other properties nearby).
Our family of six stayed for three days and the property was very conveniently located to our extended family and the canyons. The master bedroom's shower did not work and the floors throughout the condo had not been swept/cleaned. The two other bathrooms' showers were full of mold/mildrew. The carpeting was dirty and stained throughout the condo. Left over food was in the cabinets, which could have used a good wipe down as well. There was plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, but the place needs a good cleaning.
I was very pleased with the condition of the condo and the amenities as well. We were able to contact the owner for a few questions and he responded quickly. We were able to enjoy our time, hassle free, and made our time in Utah worth coming back again and again, hopefully here!
We stayed in Salt Lake City not for your usual outdoors, but for the National Speech and Debate competition. Having a "home" to return to after a long day of competition (and judging) allowed everyone to relax, recharge, and prepare for the next day. The kitchen was well appointed, and we used it and the grill on several days. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms served our needs. And the Air Conditioning worked WELL - which was appreciated in the 90-100 degree days. Also the wifi was flawless which was a requirement for our competitors to do research each night. Needless to say, we had a wonderful stay, and we did do a little hiking as well. The owner also responded promptly during our stay about locating the garage door openers. The Porcupine Pub is in walking distance and has amazing food and great beer!
The property was clean and spacious. It was nice to have a garage available for two cars. You cannot beat the location being so close to the cottonwood canyon. The hot tub was a nice addition.
