About this property

We call this recently renovated luxury apartment Hale Kai, which is Hawaiian for 'Sea House.' It is fully furnished and has spectacular views of Rock Creek, which joins the Patapsco River and the Chesapeake Bay.

Relax out on your own large deck and watch the boating activity and wildlife in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Come by land or by sea -- we have boat slips available at our dock.

Enjoy spectacular sunrise views and go swimming off the end of our dock. You can also bring your kayak or canoe and explore the many unique coves and enjoy the unforgettable sights of Rock Creek. We have one canoe for our guests to use.

This is a second floor apartment that has its own entrance. The location is ideal - close to historic Annapolis and Baltimore, BWI and about an hour to Washington, DC (if you avoid rush hours). It is ideal for a family getaway, an anniversary, a sight seeing base of operations, or business related activities.

The apartment is not a B&B, it is a 'B' (we may add the other B later).

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a grill on your deck.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance and many more restaurants and supermarkets close by. Some restaurants offer home delivery (menus provided).

Fabulous apartment everything we needed in a stunning location

Sally was helpful and very welcoming to us. We arrived with two very tired children but were welcomed and it was nice to know she was at hand if we needed anything. Not that we did... Apartment was lovely and we would definatly recommend it to others!!! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful relaxing hidden gem

This apartment and its location was idylic. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you need and very tastefully furnished and decorated. The view was amazing overlooking the water - we were able to make use of the 2 man canoe provided. Sally was an amazing hostess. There were Supermarkets and pharmacies close by. It was for us an ideal way to visit Washington, Arundel Mills and Chesapeake beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly love to return some day.

OUTSTANDING!

My wife and I surely couldn't be called seasoned VRBO veterans but we're also not novices. We've stayed in about ten or so over the last few years. All were either in the northeast or Hawaii. There aren't enough good things to say about this place. It's got a great view, was well appointed and well stocked. Communication with the property manager was exceptional. The place is convenient to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, DC.

Incredible sunrises

Starting the day looking at the beautiful sunrise over the water was a wonderful treat. The unit itself was perfect for four adults (my husband and myself and our adult kids). Great kitchen to cook in, cozy living room. Lots of games and puzzles to use. We could walk to coffee and a few food spots. Convenient to the highway for travel elsewhere.

Christmas away from home

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate Christmas near our son. The apartment was well stocked with supplies as well as puzzles and games. We enjoyed a lot of quality family time together and visited the area attractions including the aquarium. The view of the water was very beautiful. Sally was a great hostess.
