About the property

4 bedroom Cowboy & Indian Cabin w/WIFI & cable tv, Dogs ok! Room for everyone

This is a fun place for the whole family to spend quality time. It's just like camp, complete with fire pits. The beds will be made with fresh white linens when you arrive. A really Cozy Cowboy CABIN, complete with cable TV & WIFI. Heats by woodstove only, not for the faint at heart in the dark winter nights. Large open private yard, not visible from the street, perched high away from the main road. 4x4 needed to get up the driveway, yes even in the summer, (or there is plenty of parking at the end of the driveway). You can fish or swim with your dog at a beautiful 30' WATERFALL that is 1 mile away, (Profile Falls: picnic tables and grills are built in next to the falls.) the dog is also welcome. Canoe or kayak (both included) down the Pemigewasset river, boat ramp & free parking 1 mile from the cabin. The 'Fun Spot' and an old fashion Drive-In movie with double feature about 15 miles. Wears Beach Drive-In.

See more pictures and videos on our

Dunkin' donuts & Cumberland farms open 24 hours less than 2 miles away.

Property is backed up to a mountain. Target shoot in the backyard. If you like rock climbing, hike/climb the cliff/mountain that backs the property. Archery setup, zip line, horseshoes, volleyball net, bean bag toss, croquette set & golf clubs all in the yard.

This place is just like being at camp. It has a real 'be one with nature' feel about it. Come into the woods, 5+ acres with lots of green (extra large yard). Hit a few GOLF balls into the woods, we have a set of clubs in the shed. Feel free to set up your own tents in the llarge private back yard around the fire pit. Bring marshmallows for s'mores, and cozy up to a roaring fire in the yard from the hammocks. Don't forget to look up: the STARs are so big and bright in these northern skies.

Skiing less than 20 minutes away (Ragged). Lots of ANTIQUE shops & THRiFT stores in the local town of Bristol 2miles away. CABLE TV with man channels (ESPN). We are about 4 miles from Newfound lake & Wellington State park. Newfound lake is the third cleanest lake in the nation it is spring fed.

Skilled Tradesmen ask about special rates as there is always something that needs to be done at the homestead! Cabin has a real cowboy & indian feel about it. Wild West decor with lots of Native American inspiration.

Great spot for our group of guys!

  • 4 of 5

I organized a friend reunion of about 12 guys over a long weekend and the Cowboy cabin was an awesome spot for us. I'll get the minor gripes out of the way first before moving on to the positives. 1) We all knew ahead of time that this place is a rustic cabin/camp and so we weren’t expecting it to be pristine. Still though, the inside would benefit from a thorough cleaning. 2) The wifi connection was very weak and the cell reception was poor. Most people looking to book here won’t need to stay ultra- connected but if you’re going to have/advertise wifi, it should have a solid speed. I was able to make/receive calls but the conversations went in and out. About 75% of my texts (Verizon) went through on the first try. 3) The plumbing was so-so. We ran out of hot water a couple of times but it didn’t take long for it to come back. I will mention that the water was clean, smell-free, and actually quite tasty to drink! 4) The Glamping tents advertised in the photos weren’t available when we stayed. Pat (the owner) I believe is doing some work to them which is fine but it would have been good to know prior to arriving. We all still had plenty of beds/couches to sleep on inside. Now, onto the positives. It was super easy to keep my group entertained on the property because of all there is to do. We didn’t have to bring any sporting equipment because Pat has a bunch of old golf clubs and whatnot available for use. There is a neighbor who lives somewhat close by and we did see him a couple of times just barely through the trees but overall, the property still felt very private. As you can tell from the pictures, the cabin itself is brimming with character. Everyone in my group had a great time exploring the cabin and the grounds. We also appreciated that the town of Bristol is only a few minutes down the road so re-supplying on food or whatever else we needed was easy. It’s also very close to Newfound Lake. We were there during the Celtics/Cavs series so we were relieved that the cable worked great. We didn’t have any issues cooking the entire weekend as we had everything we needed- a grill, pots & pans, utensils, toaster, etc. Finally, Pat was very nice and responsive. I met her quickly when she stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure we were all set. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the Cowboy Cabin and so long as your group is OK with a rustic and unique/non-traditional setting, you should have a great time too!

Awesome cabin getaway

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I just rented this place for the weekend and had an absolute blast! There are plenty of beds to accommodate a large group and space to spread out so you don’t feel like you’re constantly on top of each other. We felt like it was just us out there and it was spectacular. Many large fires and many beers going around. Pat was great too! She answered any questions I had right through the VRBO app always in less than a day, but still gave us our privacy while at the house. If I could give it 10 stars I would. 10/10 will rent again! Thanks Pat!!
