Our condo is in the new Trailhead Lodges complex. It is one block off Main Street in the middle of downtown Winter Park and across from the beautiful town park (Hideaway Park). Hideaway offers playground equipment, a skatepark, an amazing new amphitheatre for free music concerts in the summer, and sledding in the winter. The free town bus shuttle picks up right in front of our complex and will take you to the resort or around town. It is a short walk to shopping and many fabulous restaurants and coffee shops.

The complex offers a beautiful clubhouse with year round outdoor heated pool, large hot tub, fitness center, pool table, large gathering area with two story stone fireplace and kitchen for reunions, weddings, etc., an outdoor picnic area with 2 gas grills and fire pit for relaxing. All this is just steps away from our building.

Our unit is on the ground floor and sits at the back of the property where the views from our large, private wrap around deck are spectacular. Take your morning coffee outside, pull up one of the deck chairs and watch the sun rise over the divide or see if you spot a moose grazing in the meadow. At night you can throw some steaks on the grill and watch the sunset turn Perry Peak from orange to purple to blue. This unit will make you feel like you are away from it all, yet be just steps from all that the town offers.

Our family considers Winter Park to be our home away from home. Kevin grew up in Denver and has lots of family in the area. We love to come visit family and be able to enjoy the beauty and fun that Winter Park offers.

We bought this condo at Trailhead Lodges because of the layout, the location, and the views.

This condo has everything on one level. No hiking stairs to get to bedrooms.

The porch really grabbed us. It is not just a small balcony off of patio doors. It spans the length of the condo and wraps around the corner. The Fraser river runs 20 feet behind our building and you can hear its gurgle from the condo. The deck provides a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee, watch for wildlife, read a book, photograph the mountains, or enjoy a meal.

When you are ready, you can walk out the other side of the building and be a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants. Our son loves to be able to walk over to the skate park and spend a couple hours testing out the bowls and making new friends. He can just walk home when he is exhausted (or hungry).

In short, this condo offers the peace of the widlerness AND the convenience of the town.

Rocky Mountain Paradise

My girlfriends and I rented this lovely condo for a Girl's Weekend. We were comfortable on every level. The living area is spacious with beautiful mountain views. The gurgling stream just off the deck provides a relaxing background. The kitchen provided all we needed for our meals. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Close to town for shopping or a cup of coffee or gelatto in Cooper's Creek Mall. From the condo we walked to the Frasier River Trail and enjoyed a stroll to Winter Park Ski area. Soaking in the hot tub at the condo guest center was enjoyed by all. We'll be back!

Mountain Paradise!

This is our second year renting Kevin & Jill's condo, and once again had a fabulous stay. This condo has everything you could possibly want for a truly incredible vacation. The condo is well appointed with beautiful furnishings and an exceptional fully furnished kitchen. It is very large and spacious, and will handle a large group comfortably. The wrap around deck is by far my favorite part of the condo. Sitting out on the deck, sipping our morning coffee, listening to the rushing creek just yards from the deck, watching the birds flying and singing in the open meadow takes us to such a tranquil place. Any stresses you may have going on in your life will disappear. The condo is located just steps from main street where you can walk to all the restaurants and shopping you can possible want. I highly recommend this beautiful condo to anyone who really wants to enjoy Winterpark!

Always a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our stay in 2149 is always lovely. The location is perfect for shopping, playing in the park, eating out, hiking, staying in and exploring. We have stayed here with a large group as well as just a few people and the accommodations are always comfortable. We always look forward to returning.

A slice of heaven in the mountains

A great location with lovely accommodations, this condo it a real gem! Our family of 5 had plenty of room, so this condo can easily sleep a group of 10. Everything you need for your stay is right here! Just a 5 minute drive south to the base of Winter Park Resort, or 5 mins north to Frasier, you have convenience at your finger tips. We enjoyed a summer visit and appreciated the proximity of this condo to Winter Park Resort, Fraser, Grand Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs, Grandby and Kremmling. Kevin and Jill were very responsive and provided not only a wonderful place to stay, but great ideas for family activities in and around Winter Park. We highly recommend this condo if you are visiting the area!

Great Place To Vacation.

We have been talking about traveling West for several years. We gambled on a location and won. The location was amazing for condominium living. Not knowing, we stayed the week before the Summer frenzie began; that was a like winning the trifecta. If we ever return to Colorado, Winter Park and Trailhead Lodge will be in the plans. 514 was clean, nicely and adequately furnished, semi-isolated (yet close to everything), and has a large interior. The view out the back (minus a few dead pines from the dreaded beetles) is nice; the view from this specific dwelling blocks you from any other buildings. Stay here and go easy on the property, so if we return the condominium will be as nice as it is now.

Each year we upgrade/replace a few things in order to keep it fresh and comfortable. We love the view out the back too.
