Villa Colleen is only 900 feet from a small boot mooring, a kayak ramp, and the bay. It is set in a quiet residential area in Tropical Shores, Vamo, only 6 miles from the number 1 beach in the USA, Siesta Key. The 2600sqf house has 4-5 bedrooms (3 with King-size beds), 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a spacious living room, and a comfortable dining room for 8-10 people. A screen covers the heated pool and large terrace. On the first floor, there are two other bedrooms with King-size beds; one has a private terrace. The house boasts a digital television package with 165 channels, wireless high-speed Internet, a brand-new 50-inch flat screen TV in the living room, and a second TV in the master bedroom. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and there are 2 bedrooms with large double beds on the upper floor. There are 2 twin beds in the fourth bedroom. The fifth bedroom offers a double bed. Although this is usually off-limits, we can make it available to you on request. The outdoor area boasts a large cooking range, 2 brand-new bicycles, a large, covered terrace, many chairs and sun loungers.

Although we own a travel agency, this has been our favourite holiday destination for more than 30 years. The area is clean and safe, like in Europe, with stunning beaches, like in the Caribbean. Experience a beautiful, 10 km beach covered with sand as white as snow in Siesta Keys— (number 1 beach in USA 2013). The property is 2 hours away from the Disney Parks and 3 hours from Miami.

Notes:
English-German-speaking property manager nearby. The highlight is the blue glass cover for the pool area with solar panels, secured by mosquito nets. In the winter months, it is covered with solar film so you can enjoy a warm pool. There are 3 equally sized bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. One has a door leading to the swimming pool and the one next to it has its own balcony and living space. Even in winter, you can always find a sunny spot here! The fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds! It is very peaceful at night! Please do not have parties in the swimming pool.

Great family vacation rental!!!

We absolutely loved our month at Villa Colleen. With the three king beds all with their own bathrooms it was perfect for my sisters and I. The home has everything anyone could need! From plenty of beachtowels to beach chairs ,umbrellas ,canopies , coolers,you name it it is there. We spent many days by the beautiful sparkling pool and with the solar heat the water was very warm ! They even left us a bucket with car wash soap and a sponge since we drove 1500 miles with three different cars ! The home is in a great neighborhood and close to many stores, restaurants shops etc. siesta keys beach is close by and is absolutely beautiful. The whitest sand you could ever see ! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The water heater started to leak and the plumber was there to replace it that very day. They also have four new bikes that you can cruise the neighborhood or even take them to the legacy trail which runs 20+ miles. The backyard is lit beautifully at night and very private… Basically the backyard is screened in and you can leave all three patio doors open to enjoy the tropical Florida air ! So pack a small bag and your sunscreen because that’s basically all you will need .

Great Location and Great House

When we arrive the house was very clean and orderly. We had called and asked if there was a crock pot in the house and were told there was not; however, when we arrived there was a brand new one sitting on the kitchen counter. The house is centrally located to everything you would want to do in Sarasota. A Publix grocery store, a Target, a CVS, a Kohls, and a Subway are less than a mile from the house.The house has a solar heated pool and the temperature of the water was very comfortable and we enjoy spending time around the pool. We ate all our meals outdoors in the screened in area surrounding the pool. There are very few houses in Sarasota that have three masters with king size beds like this house. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. This was our fourth year in Sarasota and this was the best house we have had. He plan to return to Sarasota next February and have rented this house for our stay.

Wir hatten angerufen und gefragt, ob es einen Schongarer im Haus gäbe und man sagte uns, dass es keinen gäbe. Aber als wir ankamen, befand sich ein ganz neuer auf der Küchentheke. Das Haus ist zentral gelegen und bietet alles, was man in Sarasota machen möchte. Ein Publix Lebensmittelladen, ein Target, ein CVS, ein Kohls und eine Subway sind weniger als eine Meile vom Haus entfernt. Das Haus hat einen solarbeheizten Pool und die Wassertemperatur war sehr angenehm und wir genossen es, die meiste Zeit am Pool zu verbringen. Wir aßen alle unsere Mahlzeiten im Freien in dem abgeschirmten Screen des Pools. Es gibt nur sehr wenige Häuser in Sarasota, die drei Master Schlafzimmer mit King-Size-Betten mit eigenem Bad wie dieses Haus haben. Die Küche war gut bestückt. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Dies war unser viertes Jahr in Sarasota und dies war das beste Haus, das wir je hatten. Wir planen, im Februar nächsten Jahres nach Sarasota zurückzukehren und haben dieses Haus für unseren Aufenthalt gemietet. Meine Antwort Hi Larry, vielen Dank für die tolle Bewertung und das ihr im Februar nächsten Jahres wieder gebucht habt. perfekter Aufenthalt

Liebe Familie Biendl,

wir haben zu Zweit 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Ihrem Haus verbracht.

Alles war vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag perfekt.

Schweren Herzens müssen wir übermorgen unseren Rückflug ins kalte Bayern antreten.

Aber so wie Sie uns kennen, werden wir sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal hier gewesen sein.

Unser Tip:

Wer am Samstag Abend gerne Live-Musik in einer urigen Westernbar erleben möchte, dem empfehlen wir den "White Buffalo Saloon" in der McIntosh Rd., ca. 100 m links, wenn man die Clark Rd. auswärts fährt.

Our month in a mansion !

From the moment I arrived I felt at home. A few lights were left on to welcome us as well as snacks and wine. Everything is exactly as described on website and all pictures are up to date. Big spacious home gives everyone personal space when needed. Fully stocked, even all you could need for a trip to the beach. All kinds of info, pamphlets, maps.

Quiet neighborhood with friendly people, great for long, leisurely walks and even beautiful sunsets close by. Great pool, well maintained. Screened in backyard is ideal, no insects or bugs.

Very central area, good driving, easy to get around. Within an hour from Tampa, Fort Myers, St Pete's. Lots to see and do. Siesta Key beach is the best I've seen so far, close by about 15mins drive.

Henry was very attentive to our needs and checked in with us periodictly to make sure all was to our liking. Very courteous, generous and helpful. Both Henry and Sabine are friendly, easy going and aim to please.

Would definitely recommend this home to everyone. Hopefully I can return again in the future. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and perfect.

The Perfect Home

We loved this home. We had six adults and two 18th month old toddlers in our group. The home is in great condition inside and out with large rooms. The pool area is a perfect place to relax with plenty of chairs. You are close to the great beaches and all types of shopping as well. Prior to our arrival, the owner went out and purchased an additional high chair and pack N play which was great surprise to us and much appreciated.
