The house was fully hollowed out in 2013, and was finally completely finished in October 2014.
It contains two bedrooms and one bathroom in the upper floor, as well as a living room with a pull-out sofa, bathroom, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor.
All bedrooms and the living room are fitted with flat screen TVs. In the living room, there is also a DVD player and a selection of DVDs.
The bedrooms on the upper level have separate entrances.
The house has central air-conditioning, which can be regulated separately for the upper or ground level.
Enjoy the view of the Banana River from your breakfast table, where dolphins pass by or schools of fish crowd around, often at a distance of just 10 metres. The single dock is a great fishing spot in one of Florida's premier angling regions.
Just 150 metres in the other direction, you will reach the extensive Cocoa Beach, which is ideal for long walks or surfing.
From here, it is just a hop, skip, and a jump to Orlando to the Disney theme park, about 45 minutes away.
Right in front of your door, there are further attractions such as, for example, the Ron Jon Surf Shop (the largest surf shop in the world), the cruise ship harbour at Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center and the Cocoa Beach Pier, to name a few.
Daytona Beach is also just an hour away, where America's largest biker gathering happens every year in March.
This is a great little place that was recently renovated. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pier was good for fishing and watching dolphins and the water was bioluminescent when we were there. There is a nice yard in front. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There is two zone air conditioning - downstairs and upstairs. The outside stairs were no problem at all. We will definitely rent this house again.
Nice spot, a little odd about the separate upstairs bedrooms; I would think it would be easy to make those stairs interior. You have to lock up downstairs for the night, and juggle keys for upstairs and down. Keys were tricky to sort out which key for which doors and initially finding the lock box. Took us 10 minutes to get right key to open bedrooms upstairs. Labeling keys would make this all much simpler. Also, sent message to owner prior to arrival about Wifi too but never got a response. Outside hose needs work. Splintered deck and bench dangerous. Aside from that, place is comfy and adorable, with new bathrooms and bedrooms, and the location is great on the river. A little tricky crossing A1A to the beach, but it's close for sure and a beautiful beach and surf.
LOCATED ON THE RIVER WITH AMAZING VIEWS AND JUST MINUTES FROM THE EXCITEMENT OF CENTRAL COCOA BEACH. OWNER VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH! WILL STAY HERE AGAIN FOR SURE!
The house was perfect for our needs. We were there just a few days for our daughter's wedding on the beach. Being on the water and watching the dolphins in the morning & evening right off the dock was a great experience. Just a short walk across the street to get to the beach was nice too. Made it easy to take early morning and late evening walks on the beach. We even saw 2 sea turtles coming onto the beach to lay their eggs (we gave them room and stayed away!), The bedrooms upstairs were very nice and having to walk outside to get to them wasn't an issue at all. The view from the upstairs balcony was great. Thanks for sharing your home with others.

The home is situated perfectly on the Banana River with it's own private dock. (I certainly wouldn't take a star away for this, but some kind of permanent shade on the dock would have been very helpful). My boys (17, 22, 27) and I had a fabulous time just fishing, paddle boarding and relaxing on the patio while we watched the sunset. Literally, just a very short walk (about the distance of a football field) out the front door and you're on Cocoa Beach. The beach area there was fairly quiet and very well kept. Or a very short drive and you can be in the middle of town with all the hustle and bustle. The house was clean and well stocked. There were plenty of beach towels, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The washer and dryer are shared between the house next door as well, but that was never a problem. We saw several dolphin every day right off the dock and even had them swimming very close to us while we were on the paddle boards. Definitely some typical Florida rains several of the days we were there, though not an issue for us because we expected it. As people have mentioned before, the stairs to get from downstairs to upstairs are on the outside of the house. Different yes, but not a big deal at all. We bought groceries and mostly cooked at the house, but we did try out a few restaurants. Our favorite was Thai Fuku. I only needed to contact the owners a few times before our stay, but always got a reasonably timed response. We sat on the dock on July 4th with the most amazing view ever! Fireworks all up and down the river as far as the eye could see. I would whole-heartedly recommend this property and certainly hope to stay there again in the future!
With the dock on the Indian River and easy access to Cocoa Beach, (about 125 yds.) this is the place for you.
The kitchen area has plenty of good enough equipment to make a gourmet meal and the grill was clean (we didn't use) restaurants, shopping near by and less than an hour from Orlando.
The hosts were prompt with answering questions, gave great directions.
The only complaint we had was the internet service is spotty at best. My wife was on a working vacation. She pulled it off though so worries.
The Fat Snook at the end of the block is a fantastic restaurant ($$-$$$)
If you want to have a great home at and a great value give this place a try.
On a scale of 10 we would say 9.75. It would be a 10 but the internet thing.
Give this place a try. You won't be sorry
