This beautiful coastline offers elegant seaside resorts such as Santa Margherita, Rapallo with golf club, riding center and cultural events, Zoagli a small cozy serene beauty, Sestri Levante in the Bay of Silence, two arms of the sea embracing a village suspended in blue. Last but not least: Portofino, which does not need to be introduced to you: the rich and the beautiful (and you) in the little harbor for an aperitif, cappuccino or meal.
Chiavari is a typical Ligurian town, good shopping, good restaurants and the well known antique market which is held every second weekend of the month.
East of the Tigullia bay is the national park 'Cinque Terre' which you best reach by train (30 minutes from Chiavari), five miles of rocky shore, thousands of kilometers dry stone walls cultivated vines, five 'Cinque' little villages 'Terre' once only possible to reach by sea. The dramatic coast falling to the sea with cliffs which are often vertical, enchanting beaches among the rocks, the world renowned trail connecting the villages.
