Location, location, location! Our Oceanfront 2 bedroom condo is located 1 mile east of Seaside and situated in the center of Seagrove Beach, so you can walk or ride your bike to shopping and restaurants. There are bike rakes conveniently located on the property and a bicycle rental shop directly across the street. This property sits on a private beach with no public access, providing plenty of space to spread out. The most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen (not to mention romantic) can be experienced every evening from your private balcony. Far away from big city lights, you'll be amazed each evening when the stars light up the sky. As the moonlight dances across the water, the waves will gently lull you to sleep.

This spacious, unit has been completely remodeled and comes with the amenities you deserve while on vacation. Because this unit is owner/operated and not operated by a management company, our attention to detail and comfort sets us apart from the standard 'bare bones' rental units. We provide pillow-top mattresses, thick, fluffy bath towels and soft high thread count linens. Located directly on the beach, you'll enjoy a beautiful panoramic view from both the master bedroom, living room and outside balcony that extends across the living room and master bedroom.

There's a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and modern appliances, stocked with all the necessities to satisfy all of your cooking or baking needs (we even include a crock pot and sharp knives!). A full size, modern, high efficiency washer & dryer allows you to pack lightly for your trip. The little 'extra's' that help make your vacation complete include, a cooler to take to the beach, an extra large beach bag for all your beach gear, 4 over-sized beach towels AND complimentary beach chair service (March-October).

The living room has been furnished with a custom upholstered queen sleeper sofa and loveseat and new electronics that include a large 50' flat screen SmartTV connected to High Definition cable with extended sports channels...you won't miss any of your favorite football games when visiting in the Fall! There's a Blu-ray DVD player and a library of G-rated DVD's to enjoy family movie night.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed (pillow-top mattress), 32' flat screen TV and Smart Blu-ray DVD player. The private master bath has a granite counter on the high-top vanity (comfortable for the tall guys!), and a shower/tub combination.

The second bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds (pillow-top mattresses), a 24' TV with DVD player and HDMI cable provided so the kids can connect their game system. The second full bathroom adjacent to the 2nd bedroom has a shower/tub combination.

You're on vacation, but just in case you have to stay in touch with the office, high speed wireless internet on a secure network is included at no charge. The SmartTV & SmartDVD player have been connected to our Wireless Internet Service, making it possible for you to access your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.accounts.

You'll enjoy the sugar white beach and the emerald green water that's so clear you can see your toes wiggle (The crystal clear green water is why this area is called 'The Emerald Coast'). Build a sandcastle, or grab a book from the extensive library of books we've provided and relax on your private balcony and watch the dolphins play right in front of you. For a change of pace, you can lounge beside the gulf front pool (heated Nov-May), which is located close to the gas BBQ grills and picnic area. Leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind...your cares and worries will fade away as quickly as the tide. Come stay with us and you'll discover that paradise really does exist.

Pros and Cons

BeachCrest is in a great location with beautiful views that is certain. The unit linens and towels were clean and fresh, kitchen had all that was needed and beach toys provided was a plus. Cons- owner did not disclose there was a major condominium under construction next door complete with a crane that started work at 7 am. I'd say there are probably a few months more before the work will be internal. Also, they were replacing all the doors and windows in the building which was a huge addition to the outside noise. I did complain and the owner gave a 20% refund, but I do feel I was a bit led on.

Owner's Response: We appreciate feedback, whether positive (as most of our reviews reflect), or negative (so we're aware of any area that may require attention to ensure an enjoyable stay for all of our guests). We’re pleased that most of our reviews comment on the units cleanliness, updated and new furnishings, along with a well-stocked kitchen and added amenities. Unfortunately, were not able to remedy situations that are completely out of our control. Indeed, there’s a new building under construction next door. We received feedback of construction noise in early June when construction began and the support pilings were being pounded into the ground…and no further comments regarding construction noise until late September. When this guest booked their reservation in August, we had not had any feedback of noise for 2 months, so it wasn’t relevant to mention the possibility of construction noise at that time. As a previous guest commented, the growth in this area has escalated to the point that you can’t drive 3 blocks in any direction without encountering construction…an unfortunate result of the desirability of this beautiful area. Our online calendar has been block for the month of November because this was the original date we were given that the windows and doors in the building would be replaced. Because the materials unexpectedly arrived early, the building management decided to move forward with the project at that time. We were apologetic that this decision, which was out of our control, caused a disturbance for this guest. We immediately responded to the concerns of this guest and as her review reflects, she was complimentary and had no negative comments of the actual unit. We do however, disagree with her comment that she was intentionally misled. As our listing indicates, we’ve been a member of VRBO since 2000, and wouldn’t have hundreds of satisfied guests if we made a habit of misrepresenting our properties. The window and door replacement project in this building will be completed by December (2017) and exterior construction of the building next door will be completed by Spring 2018.

Fall Break Vacation - A+ Condo

I have rented condos and homes for the last 30+ years and this is the second year that I’ve vacationed in this building. The unit has to be the most well-appointed and beautifully furnished condo I have rented. It had everything that you ever wanted and more. The furniture was clearly new and the kitchen had ever appliance, plate, cups, etc. that you would ever need. It even had storage containers for leftovers. The owner provided detailed instructions for ever appliance, TV, and rules needed for our stay which was very helpful. I would recommend that cable is added to the 2nd bedroom. My only complaints (BOTH OUT OF THE OWNER’S CONTROL) were due to the construction noise from the new condos being built on the lot next door. There was a continuous beeping noise ever-time a forklift or cement trucks would backup. This noise could be heard from the beach and inside the condo. In addition, they were installing new doors/ windows in our building (very much needed - doors were very heavy and difficult to open) which required the use of a hammer drill and could be heard on all floors. During the day the contractors unnecessarily locked-down one of the two elevators. Once the exterior work is completed next door and the door/ window project is completed in the subject building I would rate the unit as an A+. The owner did send me a nice e-mail apologizing for the inconvenience of the construction and indicated that the door/ window project was not to have started until after we departed. The building (NOT THE UNIT) is managed by Garrett Realty and when scheduling this construction they clearly did not take into account the inconvenience to the paying vacationers.

Condo was clean and in good shape. Nicely decorated and well equipped for all needs.

Very nice condo and property. Good beach front too. Kids loved the pool, games, puzzles and movie selection. The owners have supplied all you need for a good time in the condo and on the beach. We haven't been to the area for a few years and we were surprised at the amount of growth. Traffic was heavy too, but I'm sure it's because of the time of year. We have always visited there in the fall. A little disappointed construction was going on next door, but that's growth I guess.

Absolutely beautiful condo in a GREAT area!

My husband and I needed a getaway! Thank goodness we found Beachcrest #505 in Seagrove Beach, FL! The condo is newly remodeled and has EVERYTHING you need. It's a beautiful, clean and cozy place! We loved it.

I highly recommend this condo --- we will definitely be back.

Great view of the ocean!

This is a very nice, beach-themed condo with a great view of the ocean. The kitchen is attractive and well equipped making it easy to fix a meal. Location is great! Very close to local restaurants, shopping and Publix is just down the road. Very much enjoyed opening the sliding doors and listening to the surf. A very relaxing week! Debi is very easy to work with! Strongly recommend!
