Beachfront Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + 2 Queen sleeper sofas, 3.5 Baths - Sleeps 6-10

This beautiful, pet-friendly townhouse is situated directly on the white-sand beaches of the emerald coast. It can be rented to suit your needs, as two units or one. Bali Button (A) sleeps up to six and Bali Button 2 (B) sleeps up to four during Fall and Winter. Each individual unit has its own full kitchen, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and decks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Recent remodeling of our beach homes includes new bath vanities with granite counters and marble sinks. The kitchens have been completely redone with custom cabinets, stainless appliances and quartz counters. Bali Button has brand new decks with Azek railings and flooring. The top two deck floors are now solid allowing you to enjoy rainy days on the deck and not worry about spills from above! Sit back and relax on the spacious decks on the PVC furniture with sunbrella cushions. AND YES WE HAVE HIGHSPEED WIRELESS AVAILABLE......TAKE THE COMPUTER TO THE BEACH!!

Unit A - Bali Button - is a 2BR/2.5BA and is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the townhouse. The main living area is on the 2nd floor and has a living room with queen sleeper sofa, dining, kitchen, half bath and a nice deck off the living room overlooking the beach. The 3rd floor has 2 king bedrooms (1 is the master suite with full bath and a deck overlooking the beach) there is also a full bath in the hall on this level. The master bedroom and living room both have huge wall-to-wall sliding glass doors which open onto large balconies overlooking the beach and are perfect for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The view is truly breathtaking! We have decorated the unit with unique furnishings from our travels to Bali, Indonesia.

Unit B - Bali Button 2 - has also been renovated and is located on the 1st floor of our three level townhouse. There is a Queen bedroom, kitchen, full bath, living room with fold out Queen sleeper sofa, and a nice deck overlooking the beach.

Both units have a private front door in front of the parking just off of Scenic Gulf Highway (Old Highway 98). The units also connect inside with an interior double locking door.

The private beach is accessible from both units. Just step off the lower deck and you are on your own private beach.

There are several good restaurants right within walking distance from the beach. Destin also offers many world-class golf courses, plenty of fishing and boating activities, nightlife, shopping and so much more.

We only allow the units to be split during late Spring, Fall and Winter. Check out Vrbo # 1133518 for the 6A 2 bedroom Part or VRBO # 1135719 for the 6B- 1 bedroom part. We only rent the full townhome during most of Spring and all of the Summer. We own 2 nearly identical beachfront townhomes side by side in the same complex. You can rent either unit 6 or unit 7 (also on VRBO #1009154). During Spring, Summer and the prime weeks of Fall we only rent from Saturday to Saturday. Please request dates from Saturday to Saturday.

With advanced planning for group events such as: weddings, family reunions, or business meetings, with our other townhouse being right next door in the same complex , we can accommodate up to 20 people if you book unit 6 and 7.

We only rent to guests 25 and over.

About Renee Bonds Finn

We are a family of 3. My wife, Renee, grew up in the area and enjoyed the Destin beaches as a child. I was stationed here in the early 90's being a Special Ops Helicopter pilot. I met my wife during that time and had already purchased this property. I was the first owner to create a living space in the bottom level and to split the townhome into 2 units. I was deployed a lot so I rented the top 2 floors and lived in the bottom. I really enjoyed having the beach right outside my back door. We have been renting the property out since 1997 and have done many renovations and updates over the years. We travel the world with our 8 year old daughter Brielle but still haven’t found any beaches as nice as Destin.

This property was just a perfect fit and a great location. I really wanted to be right on the beach, especially for the spectacular views and direct beach access. I didn’t want to have to walk across the street. We also think it’s perfect that we have the option of splitting the townhome into 2 units. We love the layout and the decks and being able to step onto the sand from our own deck. It truly is paradise here and the views honestly don’t get much better. We also own a nearly identical townhome with similar furnishings located right next door to this one. It is Sand Dollar #7 VRBO #1009154

What makes this townhome unique

While staying at our Balinese inspired townhomes, you will enjoy a refreshing change from the standard 'flower print' furniture that, for some reason, is still popular with many property owners here. We are located directly on the gulf with the beach just off the back deck. We also have complementary high speed wireless internet so you can relax on the decks overlooking the beach while still keeping up with work and friends. We are constantly upgrading our property and take to heart any input that our customers have to offer. Being local, we stay on top of repairs and other issues that could interfere with your vacation. We travel a lot and try to bring home ideas that we see in hotels that we visit. Lastly, we own two townhomes side by side that are virtually identical so we can easily accommodate large parties. We think that you will enjoy our homes as much as we do. Call us anytime.

Our area is one of the best in Florida. We are located in Miramar Beach in Walton County. It used to be called Destin before they split it into 2 counties. Our townhomes are sitting on the prettiest powder white beaches that I have ever seen. We are close to one of the best outlet malls in the South East. Enjoy amazing sunsets, incredible beach views and dolphin watching from the back decks. We are in a good location convenient to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, golf, fishing, family friendly activities and so much more. I honestly don't think you can beat this area for couples and families.

This was our 10th year of renting this unit and will keep coming back. Having the beach right out your door is awesome. You don't have to load you car and drive for access. We rent the 1st floor and it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, Renee is always open to suggestions and constantly making changes. She wants your stay to be very relaxing and enjoyable. We have met several people there over the years and most have been repeat renters! Stores and restaurants are very close. We consider this our home away from home!

Could have been better.

We have stayed in this condo before, 5 years ago, and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the same experience this time around. We had a major leak in the living room the night of the storm. We called the property manager as well as maintenance. We never heard back from the property manager but maintenance called back and said they'd be there at 11:00. At 1:30 we called again because nobody had come yet and were told it would be another hour or so. Once he finally arrived, he told us that he would just fix once we were gone. Made another call the next day because the upstairs guestroom tv was not working and the light on the first floor deck was not working. Nobody ever called us back. Some of the beach chairs were broken as well as some of the patio chairs and the property itself has some much needed fixing/updating that needs done. We really enjoy this property on Mirimar beach so it was disappointing to say the least that we did not have the excellent experience we had the first time we were here. It's a lovely condo in a really great location so hope these things will be addressed to make it what it once was.

This place is a complete dump

Do not trust the pictures for this unit it is false advertisement we rented this unit and they stole our money when we arrived it was a dump it stunk was nasty and unsafe and I have the pictures to back this up don't stay here save your money

Owner's Response: Natalia, I wanted to take a moment to respond to your review and discuss your brief stay. When you first arrived at our property you indicated that it looked nothing like the photos on VRBO, that you were leaving and wanted a full refund. I was, of course confused, because aside from lighting variations and a new couch, the photos of the property are exactly what you saw upon arrival. Everything is identical. When I asked you to be precise you couldn't tell me what was different. I asked if there was anything I could do to remedy your issue and you said "No". You then stated that you just did not like the property, again no specifics. Then you told me that your mother was afraid that a car would crash through the bedroom wall and she refused to stay there. After course, for a car to do that it would have to get through 2 parked cars, go over a curb, smash through a waist high retaining wall and through the stone wall of the condo. Not likely. You then stated that there was dust on the ceiling fan and the place was musty and that your family had bad allergies. I offered to clean again and also described our state of the art Guardian Air purification system that provides for hospital quality air. You refused. There is no musty smell. I understand that you want a refund but it is apparent to me that somehow your plans had to change and you did not want to pay for your booking. This is not fair to me, this was a peak summer week, a week that we book months ahead of time. I always recommend trip insurance just in case plans have to change like this. Trying to penalizing the owner, for some issue on your end, isn't right.

Family Vacation

This property is the perfect spot for a family with teenagers! The pictures on the web site do not do it justice when it comes to beach access. You are right on the beach, literally steps from the water. We had a beach view from 4 levels of deck, including the downstairs porch where the shower and storage are located. If stairs are a problem for your party this may not be the place for you, however it worked great for us. The older teens practically had a beach house to themselves; kitchen, bath, bedroom and living space with direct beach access. The units are joined with a single doorway, with plenty of privacy but also accessible. It would also work great for 3 families who wanted to vacation together. Plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone and the furnishings were very nice. You have everything you need to have a relaxing vacation including beach furniture. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place or better location. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. You can rent jet skis, paddle boats or parasail just steps down from the private beach. We have stayed in Destin on Miramar several times and this was by far our favorite place. Definitely a place we will stay again and again. We would highly recommend Sand Dollar and ask for the Bali Button units. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing vacation!!

This condo has been a favorite of ours for years! I've been on a girls trip, family trip including young children, & a couples trip. We love this spot. The space is perfect for all of us. You can't get any closer to the beach than this. The inside of the condo is absolutely perfect. Up to date appliances, decor, A/C works great!! The deck is the perfect place to grill out at sunset and there's plenty of room. Every one is always out on the decks every evening. This part of the beach is always clean & not over crowded bc it's private beach. They always have chairs & toys for the kids under the deck & an outside shower so you can rinse off before going inside. We've walked up and down the street to go to different local restaurants & tourist attractions. This is the perfect condo to stay in. We book for the up coming summer a year in advance bc we love it so much. We've been in June, 4th of July, Labor Day, & we love all of those times. The management is amazing too. I've asked questions before & they're fast to respond.

Winter Getaway

My favorite part of our stay is the amazing view! The Townhouse sits right on the beach. We enjoy the deck on the first level, and the balcony on the second floor off of the master bedroom. This will be our 6th time to rent this unit. The rooms are spacious and large. It has everything we need, exceptionally clean and kitchen is well stocked with whatever we might need. It is great for entertaining. The owners and staff for the unit are friendly, nice and efficient. They react immediately to any need. We love the location as it is close to shopping, grocery and restaurants. We highly recommend this unit. Love the place!!
