Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)
Ellen and Steve Shultz We are farmers in Northern Colorado. We love to travel and on our first trip to Mexico, we fell in love with the people, the land and chose to return and visit whenever possible.
Ellen purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Ellen chose Cozumel
On our first trip to Cozumel we fell in love with the Island, the people, and the sunsets over the Caribbean. We knew this is where we wanted to buy. We were privileged to be able to purchase this very special condo on the best beach in Cozumel. What a privilege to take care of this spectacular property.
What makes this Condo unique
The greatest benefit is the totally relaxing feeling you get when you are in this condo. You feel like you are in a private house on the beach. When you look out the huge walls of glass, all you see is palm trees, sand, and incredible blue Caribbean water! Being able to walk off the patio and sink you toes into the warm sand is fantastic. Just a short walk and you are at 2 pools or the private pier. Walk for miles on the beach, enjoy a massage, or have a drink or snack at one of the beach clubs. Paradise, Paradise, Paradise! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Huge fully equipped kitchen. Great patios to enjoy the sand and water. Paradise, Paradise, Paradise!

Just as advertised - 3 steps from the beautiful beach!
The views and presence on the beach are exactly as depicted in the photos - no zoom lense used! We stayed a week with two kids and a baby and it couldn't have been more perfect. The condo was well equipped and the wrap-around porch ideal for letting the little ones play on the beach unattended. The awesome pool that overlooks the water/beach is a simple walk to the right. The views at the pool are equally beautiful. The beach clubs start just a short walk down the beach to the south but far enough you don't get the beach clubbers joining you at your beach. The adjacent all-inclusive resorts keep to themselves so privacy is never violated. The grocery store Mega is about 15 minutes up the road and has everything you need. The food choices were good including produce/meats. The drive to the other side of the island is short too going south and around for about 20 minutes.
I recommend the following restaurants: Buccanoos (also for beach/pool enjoyment), Ponchos Backyard, Guido's (amazing Italian food with a flair) and Coconuts. We went to Playa Mia for the beach club visit because of their large kiddie pool area with slides/fountains for young ones. The floating attractions were super fun and challenging.
Everyone I met said the same thing - I've stayed at other resorts on the island but since staying at Residencias Reef I will never go anywhere else. I'm on board with them - I will be back!
Thank you for your kind words. This is a special slice of paradise! Please come see us again soon.
Perfect in every way!
We stayed there for a week. It is a beautiful apartment in a perfectly gorgeous location-right on the beach. I hope we are
lucky enough to stay there every year forever!
Spoil yourself with the luxury!!! Best Condo in Cozumel!!!
My husband and I took our family, 2 daughters, 30 and 27 and our 3 year old granddaughter here for a week in Mid-October 2013. It was by far the best spot and vacation since travelling to Cozumel for 7+ years!
Our family, except our granddaughter, are all divers; Cozumel is a "go-to" dive destination for us. The pier is just a short walk away from the condo! BONUS!
This condo is paradise! The views are exceptional, just steps away from the beach. We used to do the "all-inclusive" thing but after staying here a week, we are jaded and will NEVER go back to the all-inclusives. The condo has everything you need plus more! It is gorgeous and open, roomy and 5 star all wrapped up into one!
The inside is stunning and the outside, simply perfect! The wrap around porch is exquisite with a constant and gentle cool breeze... great for simply relaxing or entertaining.
As a bonus, you can hire Ellen's help to cook authentic Mexican/Myan food for you. Oh my gosh, she and her staff are also amazing. The home-made wood-fired tamales were the best!
I can't say enough good things about this property and Ellen, the property owner. If this one is too big for you, she also has a 1 room condo just a few steps away!
This was by far, our favorite family trip!!
Thanks Ellen, hope to see you soon!!
Thank you for your kind words. We truly strive to make every vacation a memorable and spectacular experience. We are blessed to have Veronica as our housekeeper as she tries to make everything perfect for your vacation. And her cooking is OUTSTANDING!
Best place to stay in Cozumel!
6 friends and I stayed at this condo in early May and we were blown away. The condo is beautiful and sits on a corner right on the beach. The breeze blows across the wrap around porch which is furnished with a complete sofa set as well as an outdoor dining room table. The place is fully stocked and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beach towels are large and heavy.
Our 3rd time to Cozumel as a group - this is, by far, our favorite place to stay and will not hesitate to book it again.
We've been in this condo for 10+ years. It is the most beautiful in the complex. It's a corner unit and close access to the pool and the beach is immediately out the sliding glass door.
Veronica is an excellent cook and house keeper. She is able to speak English which is a plus.
This was our second year in a row staying at this same location in beautiful Cozumel. We travel with another family and by renting the adjacent studio, 5110, all the guests were perfectly accommodated. The unit is beautiful, mere steps from the beach. And there is absolutely nothing more relaxing than sitting on the porch, cozy on one of the many couches, listening to the water and reading a book while sipping a margarita! Veronica, who cleans the unit everyday but Sunday, is friendly and a joy. Hire her to cook one night-the food is better than any restaurant! We do recommend renting a car if you enjoy going into town to go out to eat or do excursions. We've looked around the island our last two trips and really cannot find another location that we'd rather stay. We would highly recommend this slice of paradise for your next vacation!!
A Jack Nichlaus Championship golf course is a short 10 miles away. Beautifully maintained course with a spectacular cheering section---iguanas, alligators and birds--to make sure all you shots go straight!
