About the property

Located directly at the suburban train station (from airport), on the harbour

Our newest apartment is located on the harbour in the centre of Malaga. On the 3rd floor of a multi-family house from the forties, with spacious living areas. The building exudes little charm from the outside, and yet it is a monumental building, because it is a witness of the difficult era of Spain, the forties. Once you are inside, nevertheless you feel instantly like being in an old building, about 3.50 m ceiling height, art nouveau tiles, bay windows and high wooden lattice windows. In our apartment we could unfortunately save only a few of these beautiful tiles, because they were tiled over, and the primer destroyed the stamp colour. So we have partly laid the original tiles, partly on old tiles, and the rest with oak flooring (real wood, not laminate!). Our apartment is about 61 m2 and has two balconies, one in the kitchen (5 m2 west facing) and another in bedroom (4.5 m2 facing the north). The floor plan is very ingenious, because to the south there is a functional patio, to the west there is a road (Calle San Lorenzo) and to the north is the road Calle Casas de Campos. Over the intersection of these streets is your living room with 6 very charming bay windows, which we have some what emphasised with indirect lighting. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about any immediate neighbours during your holiday in our apartment, except me, because I have my office right next to the apartment. Easy to reach by train (last stop, 100m, it takes 14 minutes to / from the airport). Check in with us and be at home: Central European living standards (walk-in rain shower, under floor heating in the bathroom, large-size beds, central heating / - cooling), modern kitchen including oven, new windows in the bathroom and bedroom, etc. The kitchen / dining / living area is 31 m2 large and offers you a modern and comfortable furnishing. Specially attractive bay window in the living room with 6 windows overlooking a newly renovated old building (monument) and the large Alameda de Colon with plenty of green trees. Our street - Calle Casas de Campos - is being transformed into a pedestrian zone (finished end of July 2013!). It leads directly to the harbour (to the east) and to the contemporary art museum (to the west). Nearby there are several bicycle and segway rental shops, so why not discover Malaga by bike? From the apartment you can reach the Cathedral without any disturbing traffic. Other than all Malaga hotspots you can also reach museums, monuments, restaurants and bars on foot. Even the fantastic new harbour invites you to an evening stroll, a wonderful atmosphere, especially during summer. Enjoy the lively harbour city of Malaga in a quiet location, with maximum comfort and affordable prices.

The apartment was spotless and had everything that you require.Beds very comfortable, usual bathroom,lounge, kitchen, two balconies.Situated about 10 minute walk from the central train station.Felt very secure at this apartment which is accessed through an architect's office.Triple lock doors on apartment, office door and locks on downstairs door, accessing the street.Central location and about 5 minute walk to the centre.We were there during the Malage festival so we're very pleased not to be directly in the centre.Marina and beach about 15 minute walk away.Restaurants and cafes nearby.Would recommend this property.The only thing I would change is the apple tablecloth, it spoils the look.Much appreciated the bottle of wine, delicious and the flowers.Thank you.

We stayed to weeks in Malaga. Very nice apartment, confortable, very cleaned, good A/C, well equipped and located. Recommended for couples who want to stay in town with all you need near by, grocery, restaurants, buses, train, museums, biking, beach; there is a lot to do ad see in Malaga. Thank you Benno for all the informations provided and your kindness! We will, for sur, recommend it to our friends.

Malaga mittendrin

Lieber Vermieter,

Nun sind wir bereits wieder nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt und Malaga ist schon wieder Geschichte.

An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank für die schöne und exquisite Wohnung mitten im Zentrum von Malaga.Wir fanden alles in einem der Beschreibung entsprechenden ordentlichen und sauberen Zustand vor.Wir wurden zuvorkommend empfangen und fühlten uns gleich zu hause.

Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten des täglichen Bedarfs sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.Besonders erwähnenswert ist auch die Markthalle Atarazanas,diese besticht schon durch ihr markantes Äusseres,jedoch im Inneren verschlägt es einem schier die

Sprache ob der gigantischen Fülle an täglich frischen Waren wie Fische ,Fleisch ,

eingelegte Oliven,Obst,Backwaren...und und und.

Es hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen.Vielen Dank auch für Ihre wertvollen Tipps, wie das Glasmuseum und das Automuseum.

Malaga hat sich für uns seit unserem ersten Besuch 2003 sehr zum positiven verändert und wir werden der Stadt die Treue weiter halten.

Malaga hat ein schönes neues Hafengelände, viele schöne Parks und

ist kulinarisch einfach Spitze.

Excellent location

Excellent location, very recommendable recently renovated appartment, amazing mix of traditional and modern functional elements, well equiped kitchen, big daylight bathroom with even shower access, comfortable beds, lift, very close to centre, near train and bus stations. We used the flat also as base to visit other cities by bus. Good connections to nearly everywhere at a reasonable price.

Very friendly owners, nice reception on arrival: Benno, we like to thank you very much that you made our stay in Andalusia so marvellous - auf Wiedersehen!

Mit das Beste für zwei Personen in Malaga

Ich wohne mehrmals im Jahr, in Malaga, in einer Ferienwohnung.Jetzt glaube ich meinen festen Standort gefunden zu haben.Sehr gute Lage,welche sich gerade in einer Renovierungsphase befindet.Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen großzügig,sauber

und komfortabel.Sehr gute Kücheneinrichtung,die es auch möglich macht selbst etwas zu kochen.Der Markt und einige Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind nur wenige Meter entfernt.Mein Lieblingsrestaurant " Meson Iberico " befindet sich nur um die Ecke.Sämtliche öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.Malagas Sehenswürdigkeiten,einschließlich Stadtstrand,

befinden sich keine 3 Minuten fußläufig entfernt.Für einen Stadtaufenthalt ist diese Wohnung zu empfehlen.
