Located in a well maintained, beautiful resort on Seven Mile Beach. Pool and Beach only foot steps from porch. Walk directly from the porch to the beach and into the ocean for a relaxing dip in the warm water or a walk down the beautiful white sandy beaches. Resort is on beach side and it is only 200 feet from the unit onto the sand.

Perfect for a few nights or a few months. Located across from the connecting road to Caymana Bay with newly built shops, restaurants, and movie theater. No need for a car, plenty to walk to. Royal Palms Bar and Grill is 200 feet up the beach from Cayman Reef Resort. Plenty of room for 2-4 people looking for endless days in the sun on the beach. Resort is for owners and guests only. Tennis court and pool are located on property and are private for owners/guests. Georgetown is just a few miles away.

Come and stay to enjoy what the islands have to offer.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay in Unit 3 at Cayman Reef. The owner was always available to contact and was extremely nice to work with us after an injury delayed our trip. The location was easy to access any where we wanted to go. The beach is everything you could want on Seven Mile Beach! The condo worked well for our family of 4.

Fab beachfront condo

We had a very happy family holiday. The location is perfect, a few steps to the pool and a few more to the beach. We loved having access to private beach and loungers. The staff at CRR were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect.

Great location, complex, beach with a semi functional condo

My wife and I stayed in Unit 3 for a week (2/27-3/5). The condo unit itself is nice and works great for a couple people but there are some items needing repair or replacement. The dishwasher didn't work, it would fill and go through the process but it would never spray. The front left burner on the range wouldn't work. The staff at the condo were notified of this. Some people have commented on the washer/dryer in the unit, which is great to have, however we tried drying some towels and after 3 cycles, they weren't much dryer than when they were put in. The king sized bed is great, however it's quite old and not comfortable at all. A mattress topper would do a lot for the bed and the frame it sits on either needs to be tightened up or replaced as there was no mistake when the other person was getting in or out of the bed or rolling over for the amount of squeaking it made. We were also only given 1 garbage bag and a roll and a half of toilet paper. We asked the office for more but nothing showed up when they did say it would be. Also, we inquired about when check out time was and they said to not worry as the next guest wasn't arriving until the next day, however on check out day, we were hurried out of the condo which wasn't what we were told the day prior.

For keeping in contact and lazy evenings, having the TV and wifi was great. There's also quite a few locations on the island that have free wifi in shopping or restaurant areas. The condo is near Caymana Bay, which is a great shopping area with a couple coffee shops, multiple restaurants and a great wine shop/bar. Across the street from the condo are some fast food options, chicken chicken has great food for a quick bite and there's also a liquor store and dive shop. Just down the street, an easy quick walk, is a gas station and multiple other restaurant options for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The beach area at the resort is excellent. Chairs do tend to get picked up quickly in the morning, however there's usually space to find an umbrella. If not, this unit has an umbrella that we used not only on our own beach but also when we went exploring other beaches around the island while snorkeling.

Had it not been for the poor quality of the bed, appliance issues and the staff at the condo, 5 stars would have been easy.

We would definitely stay at this condo again, just not this unit.

Owner's Response: This unit is my best rental unit at CRR. I have many return guests to this unit year after year and most request to stay in this unit even though I have units closer to the beach. The check in info that every guest receives 10 days prior has all of the pertinent information that they need to have an enjoyable stay including what is provided in the unit. All guests have immediate access to myself the owner via email or phone to address any items or concerns while they are staying at the unit along with contact info for a local unit manager. As long as the proper person is contacted any and all concerns are addressed immediately. The bed was brand new 12/2014. All appliances are in full working order and are checked after each stay. My onsite manager is there to assist with any questions on how to properly operate any appliance in the unit. My maintenance company responds same day with any issue that is known. If nothing is said to the manager or owner I am unable to fix it. My goal with having multiple units for rent is to be sure everyone has an enjoyable, positive stay and I truly have had nothing but that response from all of my guests. All items in reviews are addressed with guests immediately, especially when the review is where the owner finds out about issues instead of from the guest directly. Guests have the ability to change their review after discussion with the owner but some are just out to harm others over what is said to have been an enjoyable stay and nothing "major" was wrong; and admittance that the guest had not dealt with the proper listed manager for the unit but unwilling to correct their errors on a public review. I have owned and operated this unit for rent for 8 years and my guests have nothing but nice things to say about the unit and the staff as a whole at Cayman Reef Resort.

Perfect location.

The listing was exactly as described. We had no problems at all. We loved the location. There were pool floats and beach toys for the kids. It is close to Camana Bay, Georgetown, and shopping. The beach was beautiful. We never had a problem finding a chair at the pool or beach. We shopped at Kirk's for breakfast items, drinks and snacks. Subway and Wendy's are right across the street. The kids ate there a few times. Chicken Chicken is also in the plaza across the street. Delicious! We enjoyed dinner at Da Fish Shack and Kaibo (Rum Point). The Gelato shop in Camana Bay is wonderful. We recommend that you take a walk over there. We would definitely return to Cayman Reef Resort. We went to Stingray City with Moby Dick tours, horseback riding with Coral Stone Stables, and para sailing along SMB. Check the cruise ship schedule and book your excursions on the days that there are are no ships in port.

4th visit to Cayman Islands

In the past we have stayed in Villas of the Galleon, but we decided to give another location a try and I must say we were very happy we did. Condo was very nice, closer to town, quieter beachfront. Paperwork was done extremely easy; arrived and went grocery shopping. There were some incidentals that had been left by previous renter, i.e., salt/pepper, oil, coffee. It was great to be able to prepare meals and then go out other nights. Condo was very clean and organized. There were beach floats and an umbrella for our use. Sandi and Charlene were great. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Good Place on SMB

My spouse and I rented this one bedroom condo for a week. The paperwork with the owner went smoothly. The condo unit was fine and clean. The condos' location on Seven Mile Beach is between the Marriott Hotel and the Royal Palms bar so there is activity of people walking by and it is busier on SMB when cruisers head over to the Royal Palms for a few hours for sun and sand. The condo beach is cordoned off for residents and guests though which is nice. Sandy Beach and clear water right out front which is nice. (You can't say the same for every ocean front place on SMB). Walking distance to shops and food. The condo is approx. 1/3 of the way from the road so there is no road noise. It is also on the east side so there is no noise from the Royal Palms bar that other have complained about. You do have a water view from the living/back porch area. We cooked breakfast and made lunch each day. Plenty of dishes although a whisk and mixing bowl would have been helpful (We used the Pyrex baking dish and manual beater instead). The washer and dryer were a help even if just drying beach towels each day. Pack some detergent pods and dryer sheets. There was some kind of jet ski competition at the Royal Palms on a Saturday afternoon so there was a period of personal water craft buzzing by which was kind of annoying. Luckily it was only one afternoon. Much more low key than the Marriott Beach though. We brought a portable beach cabana with us since we are sun sensitive but we were appreciative of the 8 ft beach umbrella located in the condo unit. The beach ones were typically "claimed" by 8am each day so don't rely on getting one for shade. We didn't have to hurry then and we came an went as we pleased each day. We also brought a collapsible cooler in our luggage but it wasn't needed as the condo had a soft sided cooler under the sink. When the staff checks in with you the first day, make sure you look around before saying everything is fine. We were there when the office was closed for 3 days so we had to go out and buy toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent. etc. Not sure what supplies really come with the condo, if any. No problem with the WIFI, TV or assigned parking. We'd stay here again.

Located on 7 Mile Beach just north of the Marriott (about 5 minute walk up the beach from the Marriott). In an all sandy beach area. No Coral. Grocery store is 1 mile in either direction.
