The spacious, modern and with great attention to detail furnished non-smoking apartment is located in a just a few years old, secure and quiet complex amidst a beautifully landscaped and very well maintained gardens with communal swimming pool and children's pool, 300 meters from the kilometer-long sandy beach and approx 5 minutes walk from the village center. The apartment is assigned its own underground parking. In addition, there is parking both on the site and on the road. All kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, banks, etc. are within walking distance of the village and in a few minutes.
The regularly used by us as a second home and for longer stays and therefore above average and very comfortable apartment. 2 OG is accessible either by stairs or lift. The bedroom (north side) has two single beds with orthopedic mattresses and suitable for allergy bedding, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers with mirror. The indoor bathroom is spacious, with sink, bath with shower, bidet, WC, hair dryer and ample storage space. Towels, linens and beach towels are provided. The cleaning of the apartment is done 2 times a week for stays of 7 days; including 1x a week.
In the hall are coat hooks and a shoe rack.
The living / dining room (south side, Meeerblick) is furnished with a 2-3-seater sofa, a sofa bed (1.80m long) as a bed for 2 people (mattresses at different heights), 1 armchair, 1 sideboard, 1 bookshelf , Dining table with 4 chairs, cable TV and radio / CD player with ipod docking station, a DVD player, air conditioning, etc., as well as WiFi connection.
The kitchen, also on the south side with sea views, is new and very well equipped with fridge / freezer, oven, hob, extractor fan, washing machine and dishwasher, granite counter tops and plenty of storage space. Kettle, hand blender, toaster, table grill are available as well as plenty of dishes and many other kitchen utensils, iron and ironing board. On the balcony with direct sea view with a table and six chairs, two high-back chairs and a large parasol.
The whole apartment smoke detectors are installed. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
The facility is barrier-free as there is no need to use the stairs thanks to an existing lift. Access to the outdoor area, the garden and the pool is free of suitable levels and for the disabled. The apartment itself is accessible substantially; Exception: Entry into the bathtub.
The accesses to the beach have been redesigned in recent years and also barrier-free. During the season, loungers and parasols are available for an additional fee there. Several Stand Restaurants offer a comprehensive service.
The apartment is recognized as a holiday apartment and fully licensed under the license apartment no. 7612 / AL. Please note that due to changes in statutory requirements immediately a copy of your passport / ID card must be presented upon reservations.

The apartment is modern, airy, well equipped with has great views over the pool and sea in the distance.
The complex is maintained to a high standard and safe due to key entry gates. Lovely pool area and pleasantly surprised that sun beds are not reserved from dawn!
Centrally located, no need for a car, easy walk into town, to the beach and to the local supermarket.
Will definitely be looking to return in the future!

Really nice apartment in a lovely town
Have just returned from a 10 day stay at this apartment in Alvor.
I have to say it has been one of the most comfortable apartments we have rented.
The apartment had absolutely everything that you could have wanted including pool towels, high end kitchen appliances, comfortable beds, well appointed balcony (which we used constantly for meals) and was very spacious.
The local agent Tanya was very helpful on arrival, and responded in less than half an hour to a minor problem that needed the maintenance engineer to attend.
The complex was very clean, and the pool area was well looked after and didn't seem too busy (start of July).
The location is ideal, being less than 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants and bars in town, and about 5 minutes to the excellent beach.
We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday as our first visit to Portugal, and would certainly recommend the apartment and indeed Alvor to anyone looking for a comfortable relaxing holiday in this area.

Brilliant apartment in fantastic location
We really enjoyed our stay in Ursulas apartment. We have stayed in Alvor several times before but this was the first time at Vila da Praia and we thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment was lovely and spacious and contained everything that we needed for our 10 day stay. Our communications with Ursula before booking our trip were great and we were met with her agent in the resort at the agreed time etc. We will definitely be back in the future.
Fantastic Apartment in a Brilliant Location !
Lovely well equipped apartment. This was our sixth stay at Vila da Pria and this was easily the best one we have stayed at. Towels are changed twice a week unlike other places and the kitchen utensils are good quality so it is possible to self cater.

The nearest airport is Faro. From there you can either take a taxi, a separately booked transfer or rent a car directly further from the airport.
