Beautiful apartment, amazing view

My wife and I stayed for a week in this lovely, immaculate apartment. Paul greeted us in person and communication before our stay was excellent. We were given a guest card which gave you as much as 20% discount on various activities including the cable cars in Stoos. The apartment has everything required for a comfortable stay including a very well equipped kitchen.

The bed was very comfortable with a huge velux window above your head. Lying there looking at the stars ( and one evening an amazing lightening storm) was truly magical.

Morschach has several restaurants but is relatively small, although of course just a a couple of minutes walk away is the Swiss Holiday Park where there are many facilities to choose from including swimming pool,spas, mini golf etc. Brunnen which is considerably larger, is only 5 minutes away by car or about a 20 minute walk down ( at least 40 min on way up!). In Brunnen you can get the boat which can take you to various locations on Lake Lucern. We took the boat to Lucern, about 1hour 30 minutesaway, and returned by train. This was a great experience not to be missed. Lucern is a beautiful city and with the usual super efficient Swiss transport system, easy to get to.

If you are reasonably fit you should definitely take the bus or your car to the base of the Stoos cable car ( only about 5 -10 mins away.) From there take cable car to Stoos, walk through village to the chairlift which takes you to the mountain Klingenstock. From there walk along a fantastic ridge ( not difficult) with breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps and in particular, as you near the end of the ridge walk at Fronalpstock, stunning views down to Lake Lucern. You then take the chairlift back down to Stoos for the return by Cable car to the car park.

There are so many places to visit that one week is hardly enough time. There are many lakes in the area and many have cycle paths or at least fairly quiet roads surrounding them.

In short this is a lovely part of Switzerland and staying at this apartment with its fantastic views from the balcony made our stay a truly memorable experience

amazing apartment

My husband and I absolutely loved the apartment. We traveled through Europe for 6 weeks and this was the best property of our stay. The apartment has everything that you will need from dishes to bedding and made our stay very comfortable. The views are outstanding and amazing. There were days that we just sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Paul was very helpful with all of our needs and made making reservations very easy. The town of Brunnen is very close and had great markets and restaurants. We are hoping to be able to return every year. You will not be disappointed in this property.

Excellent accomodations and location

Great communications with the owner, he was waiting for us, and greeted us personally upon our arrival. He provided all the information needed to take advantage of the many features of the apartment. The apartment was was clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient and beautiful. We skied and snowboarded at nearby Stoos, only a tram ride away. Great location to tour the wonderful areas around Lake Lucerne. Outstanding host!!! The living and dining area is very large, excellent! The internet connection was slow, however.

Traumwohnung "Uriotstock" mit fantastischem Blick

Wir sind durch eine Empfehlung zum Haus Axenfels gekommen. Und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Wohnung war sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir hatten eine fantastischen Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee.

Der große Garten eine Augenweide, toll zum entspannen, grillen, aufhalten, leben. Hier war von den Liegestühlen, Tischen, Stühlen, Grill alles vorhanden.

So einen tollen, erholsamen Urlaub hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr.

Das Haus Axenfels ist wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Es waren unvergessliche Tage bei Ihnen und am Vierwaldstätter See. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank noch einmal und ich möchte nicht ausschließen, dass wir es in den kommenden Jahren schaffen, nochmals an den See zurück zu kehren. Dann sehr gern wieder zu Ihnen.

Die Beschreibung war sehr präzise, die Wohnung in einem Top-Zustand und wir sind herzlich und mit offenen Armen empfangen worden.

Über die möglichen Freizeitaktivitäten am Vierwaldstätter See braucht man - glaube ich - nichts zu sagen. Einfach traumhaft!!! Vielen Herzlichen Dank!

Sehr schickes Appartement, wundervoller Blick

Der Ausblick aus der Wohnung Urirotstock sowie vom Balkon ist einfach überwältigend, viel besser, als man es auf den Bildern wahrnimmt. Direkt vor dem Balkon hat man einen sehr gepflegten Garten, der weitere Blick geht dann über Urnersee oder den Vierwaldstättersee. Am gegenüberliegenden Ufer sind Rütli und Schillerstein zu sehen. Man könnte glatt vergessen, dass man zum Wandern herkam und bleibt einfach am Fenster oder auf dem Balkon sitzen…

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen.
