House was smaller than what I had hoped, but oh so beautiful. I loved Naomi's artwork hanging on the walls. The patio was large enough for family meals and games. Hot tub was a relaxing time with friends, Fire pit was great for making smores

A True Gem
Our stay at the Pennsylvania Farmhouse was one that we will never forget! The house itself is a truly magical place filled with beautiful art, cozy spaces, and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The setting was beyond perfect for our historically themed bachelorette party. Naomi was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She setup an in-house masseuse for us who was absolutely wonderful. She provided us each our own robes laid out for us, and even a bachelorette sash and balloon which was extra sweet. Naomi was quick to respond with questions we had while planning, and was quick to respond when we had an issue opening the main door during our stay. The house is equipped with everything you may need for an event or just a cozy weekend- there is even a stocked bar that you can purchase alcohol and sodas from. We cannot say enough good things about this place and hope to stay again in the future!

Why they chose this property

The Pennsylvania Farmhouse was built in 1732. Rumor has it that George Washington once stayed here, (when it was a Tavern), and that it could have been part of the underground railroad. The house was purchased in the 1970's by Naomi's parents, Susan and Richard Baldwin. The Baldwins owned the house for 20 years before selling it. Unfortunately, the house sat abandoned for 15 years until Naomi came back into town and spotted the crumbling old farmhouse. She decided to buy back her childhood home and has been renovating it ever since. Now, she is happy to share the special old house with guests from around the world.

What makes this property unique

An expansive deck and outdoor area are ideal for birdwatching. You may also see bunnies, groundhogs and deer roaming the property.

Inside you will find an expansive book collection. There is a steam room and a claw foot tub too!
