This beautiful ground floor apartment with private garden is located in a small quiet gated community in 1st sea line. The popular and endless sandy beach of Es Trenc extends in front of the apartment. The beach can be accessed directly from the garden belonging to the apartment. The large terrace invites you to take a relaxing sunbath. The covered terrace with its spectacular sea views is a perfect "summer lounge". The apartment has a cozy living-dining room with fully equipped kitchenette, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Air conditioning and heating are available. Guests have a parking space in the underground garage of the complex.

Several restaurants and a small supermarket are in easy walking distance. Other restaurants are located on the promenade of the neighboring village of Sa Ràpita, which can be reached by foot along the sandy beach. In the beautiful Mediterranean village of Ses Salines or in the coastal town of Colonia de Sant Jordi, there are many other good restaurants.

Several larger supermarkets and other shops can be found in Campos, just a few minutes from Ses Covetes.

Beautiful ground floor apartment close to the popular sandy beach of Es Trenc with direct access to the beach and the sea. The access to the sandy beach is right in front of the garden. Fantastic sea views from all rooms.

The small coastal town of Ses Covetes is located right at the beach in the south of the island of Mallorca, and between it and the neighboring towns of Sa Ràpita and Colonia Sant Jordi is "only" a kilometer long and beautiful sandy beach. The stretch of beach towards Sa Ràpita is about 2 km long, the distance to the Colonia Sant Jordi is 4 km, crossing the famous beach of Es Trenc, which for its white sand and turquoise water often is compared with the Caribbean. The sand leading gently and flat into the water, which makes it particularly suitable for families with children and elderly people. Both the dunes and the woods behind it are protected and any kind of construction is prohibited. A stretch of beach is declared nudist beach.

Ses Covetes itself has less than 100 inhabitants, a number that in the summer, through the use of holiday apartments and homes, increases. It is a quite original place and none of the existing buildings is higher than three floors. In the summer months, several restaurants, such as the S'Embat, Es Murters, Ran de Mar, Noray and Último Paraiso, in addition to a small supermarket for daily needs, have opened. Out of season (November to March) there are only one or two opportunities to stop off, but a lot of rest. Pure relaxation, for people who want to escape from the hustle and stroll undisturbed through nature.

For larger purchases, we can recommend the location Campos, which lies about 12 km inland and offers a year-round infrastructure. There are several large supermarkets such as Lidl, Mercadona and a Müller-market, pharmacies, banks, doctors, restaurants, bars and small shops. Thursday morning, a small fruit and vegetable market with local specialties is held and Saturday morning, the large weekly market with many exhibitors, incl. a flea market.

The nearest marinas are in Sa Ràpita, S'Estanyol and Colonia Sant Jordi. From the latter, day trips are offered, to the island of Cabrera, which is also a nature reserve. In the marinas of Sa Ràpita and S'Estanyol sailing courses are offered regularly.

Also among surfers, the beach section towards Sa Ràpita is very popular.

Golfers can indulge their hobby at the Marriott Golf Son Julia (about 30km), in the Golf Maioris (about 40km) and the Vall D'or Golf (35km).

The airport and the capital, Palma de Mallorca, are just 45 km, respectively 50km, away.

Lovely location for a very nice apartment.

We were glad we persevered with this booking after several hiccups in the administration - dealing with contracts, payments etc - as the apartment was exactly as described on the web-site and in the photographs. Firstly, the location is superb, set on a small headland with uninterrupted views east over to Colonia Sant Jordi and the islands of the Cabrera Archipelago, and westward to Sa Rapita. The garden catches the sun from early morning until sunset. You can walk out of the gate at the bottom of the garden, down a few rough rock steps and swim off the rocks in glorious clear water or walk five minutes westward to a really nice sandy beach with a friendly beach bar Es Murters (see review on TripAdvisor) A ten minute walk in the other direction brings you to the famed Es Trenc beach with another beach bar. The village of Ses Covetes is at the end of a dead-end road and so is very quiet when the day visitors have gone but there are three restaurants and you can walk along the beach to Sa Rapita in 15 minutes where there are another half-dozen restaurants. If you want to see more of the island you definitely need a hire car and although you are in the extreme south east corner of the island you can be in Palma de Mallorca in 35 minutes.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was very spacious for us, as a couple, but the seating in the living area might be a bit tight for four adults. Otherwise it had all the required facilities, including a kettle for Brits who love their tea. It was a delightful apartment, very quiet in the first week of June when the season hadn’t really kicked off and yet the sea was warm and the temperature in the low thirties. The only minor negative issues we can think of are that the garden is overlooked from the balcony of the upstairs apartment and from people walking on the cliff-side path but - if you want to sunbathe au natural - then you are only minutes from a nudist beach. The underground car-parking is a tight squeeze if you have (as we did) a large 4x4 rental car. The TV has very limited English language channels and there is no DVD player so when we finally dragged ourselves in from drinking very decent Mallorcan wines whilst watching the sun go down we watched pre-downloaded films on a lap-top. Having said all that, they are minor niggles compared to the incomparable views and location of this very pleasant apartment and we would definitely book it again when we return to this enchanting island.

Traumhafte Woche vor Märchenkulisse

Das einzig Negative an diesem Apartment ist das Katalogfoto, welches der komfortablen Wohnung und der herrlichen Lage nicht gerecht wird. Zwei Badezimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer und ein sehr großer Wohnraum sind perfekt eingerichtet. Von den Zimmern ergibt sich eine wunderbare Sicht auf das Mittelmeer, welches nur wenige Schritte entfernt in kleinen felsigen Buchten brandet. Rechts und links des Hauses erstrecken sich die weiten Strände von Es Trenc.

Die Betreuung seitens des Vermieters war professionell, pünktlich, persönlich und nicht aufdringlich.

Ich werde die Wohnung gerne weiterempfehlen.

Super Lage

Die Wohnung ist richtig gut. Traumhafte Sicht. Man kann jeden Tag perfekte Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Einziges Manko ist die Nachbarn von oben. Eine alter Familie die bis 2:00 Uhr Krach gemacht haben. Sonst ein perfekte Urlaub.

Eine Kaution in Höhe von 300,- € ist bei Ankunft in bar zu hinterlegen. Die Kaution wird den Gästen am Abreisetag, nach Kontrolle des ordnungsgemäßen Zustandes der Ferienimmobilie, zurückerstattet.
