Stunning views, generous hosts

We spent four nights here and loved it. Our hosts picked us up from the train station when we arrived and gave us some of their delicious home made cheese and jam. We bought a 3-day Jungfrau pass and spent our days wandering around the mountains, and our evenings sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The apartment is equipped with everything to make your own dinner. It is right on a bus stop, and the bus comes every hour, so you can either walk to town or catch the bus. We really appreciated the chance to stay in this beautiful place on the hillside beneath the Eiger and get a glimpse into the lifestyle of a Swiss farming family. Daniel and Anneros, thank you so much for hosting us!

A truly Swiss contemporary apartment in an idyllic Alpine setting

We found this apartment perfect for the two of us. It is fresh, clean and well equipped. We stayed for five nights and used it as our base of operations for traveling around the Berber Oberland. We had a rental car and there was parking. The apartment is attached to the family home but is very quiet and in a breathtaking setting with views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. It is about a 10 minute drive to touristy Grindelwald but it feels out in the country. There is a bus right next to the house that goes to Grindelwald on a free pass and the four star Aspen hotel is 200 meters uphill where we had two lovely dinners. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful!

This is just a great place to stay in every way. Flat was absolutely clean, comfortable bed, amazing view from the balcony and just far enough away from the town that it was very quiet at night. The local bus stops right at the end of the driveway, the train station is about 6 minutes away by car. Town has restaurants, grocery store, shopping but the real reason you visit is for the scenery and it's gorgeous beyond words!

Perfect Couples Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is very cozy and in a perfect location. We were close to all of the activities that we were interested in. Top of Europe, hiking, the train, and the bus will pick you up right in front of the house. The view from the deck is amazing. My husband and I sat on the deck every evening and watched the sunnset. The apartment has plenty of dishes and cookware to cook a meal. We cook breakfast every morning and watched the sun rise over the mountains. There is a grocery store in the village, it's called the "Co-op". It's well worth stocking up on drinks, snacks, wine, breakfast/dinner, etc.... we loved the Pizzaria that was near the train station. Very reasonably priced and great atmosphere. I reccomend this apartment for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet but yet, close enough to get to the village within 7 minutes.

The Apartment has everything anyone would need, a very high standard and attention to Detail

But the best thing are these amazing Views from the Balcony, the Swiss Mountains are simply unbeatable
