We are proud of our second vacation home in Sarasota County! So many positive reviews and feedback during the last 10 years for our ‘Bayside Paradise’ in Nokomis motivated us to create another one. Our goal is, to fulfill the expectations of our future guests in ‘Creekside Paradise’, so they can enjoy every comfort and feel at-home-away-from-home. Therefor we completely remodeled and newly furnished this beautiful house with a spacious pool area and a romantic garden. The 1970 sqft living space hosts 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open living room with attached ‘library’, a dining area overlooking the garden and pool, as well as a kitchen - all under air condition. The master bedroom has 2 walk-in closets and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a whirl-pool-tub and a separate restroom. The 2nd bathroom is located between the two other bedrooms. In the living room there is a cozy fireplace and the state-of-the-art entertainment center with a brand new 3D-TV, DVD/CD-Player and a Dolby system. At the desk in the ‘library’ you can use the new PC and the high speed WLAN – both for free. The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave, stove and oven, fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser. The coffee machine, juicer, toaster, flatware, pots and pans, cutlery, glasses – all you need in a kitchen – all new! The caged pool area is accessible through French doors from the master bedroom, the dining area, the living room as well as the 3rd bedroom. Right by the pool you can enjoy your outside meals underneath a covered seating area, the food prepared directly on the BBQ next to it. The pool is solar heated, maintained professionally once a week and measures 32.80ft in length/13.12ft in width. In the laundry room there are the washing machine and dryer as well as the iron board and the electric iron. You enter Creekside Paradise thru the attached 2 car garage, where you can find the beach equipment, 2 new bikes as well as 2 kayaks, paddles and life vests.
The great outdoors starts in the backyard: With the kanu or kayak you access North Creek, pass Little Sarasota Bay and have direct access to Midnight Pass. There climb up the dune and you will find yourself on a pristine beach between Siesta Key and Casey Key.
We rented Creekside Paradise for two weeks. Trust me, the pictures do not do it justice. The house is quite lovely, well maintained, and very clean. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is here--including kayaks and bikes. A highlight is the pool and screened in lanai. What a beautiful setting! Sabine was outstanding to work with and it is evident she has taken great care to make sure you have that "home away from home" experience. As for location, it is very convenient to Sarasota, Siesta Key, and Venice, but without the traffic. We would definitely recommend this home.
We rented the "Creekside Paradise" for the month of January. The house was very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Bikes and kayaks were provided along with beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and towels for the beach. Sitting by the private solar heated pool was relaxing with the creek in the background. The property is located close to Nokomis and Siesta beach, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone for a quiet relaxing vacation.
We traveled from North Carolina to experience a week on the sunny Florida Coast. We arrived to a beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained home. Since it was raining when we arrived, it was nice to be able to pull into the garage and unload without getting wet. The home had everything we could possibly need for a fun and relaxing vacation including a cooler, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach. We enjoyed taking the bikes to Siesta Key and riding along the beach. The grill and patio set was perfect for grilling out by the pool and enjoying a quiet and peaceful meal with the privacy provided by the creek in the back. The screen over the pool kept out any mosquitoes from the pool area. Osprey is conveniently located to several beaches and there are plenty of shopping options and restaurants with a few miles. Sabine was a wonderful host and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Creekside Paradise and plan to rent again in the future!
This January we spent two great weeks in an ideal “Creek side Paradise” vacation home. Located on a quiet cul d’ sac in Osprey Florida, with easy access to Tamiami Trail, it is a short drive to either Venice, Sarasota, or Nokomis Beach. This immaculate home had all the amenities for a relaxing stay, pool, gas grill, FiOS HD TV, high speed internet access, etc. The home is outfitted for a trip to the beach including; beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, life vests, etc., - everything but the sunscreen!
The web description adequately and accurately describes the home and outfitting.
The owner/contacts were courteous and responsive to all and any questions.
We recommend the "Creek side paradise" to anyone who is looking for a quiet Florida vacation retreat.

Osprey is located on Floridas west coast at the Gulf of Mexico, south of Sarasota and north of Venice. Our house is located in a safe and quiet (non-gated) community. Only minutes away is Siesta Key (voted #1 Beach in the US 2011) and exclusive Casey Key and its beaches. The community is just off US-41 (Tamiami Trail) and therefore really close to the Gulf of Mexico.
You won't find high-rise buildings here, but lots of places with untouched nature. Start a tour with the Kanu or Kayak (2 kayaks are waiting for you in the garage) right in the backyard of our house: You have direct access to North Creek which leads into the Little Sarasota Bay and from there to Midnight Pass, where you just have to cross the dunes and you will find yourself on a pristine beach at the Gulf of Mexico.
Osprey is home to Historic Spanish Point, a 30-acre (120,000 m2) museum and environmental complex. Osprey is also the mailing address for Oscar Scherer State Park and its Blackburn Point Bridge (leading to Casey Key) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Endless activities outside of Osprey are accessible within a few minutes by car: The museums and theatres of Sarasota, the old town and shops of Venice, the big malls and outlet centers, world class dining, golf courses, tennis courts, bike trails, boating and so much more.
To Tampa/St. Petersburg it takes you 1 hour by car. There you will find Bush Gardens and the water park named Adventure Island or you want to visit the Dali Museum or explore The Pier or are you more interested in the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI)?
To Orlando you will drive 2 hours. All the theme parks are a highlight, but just to stroll through downtown is worth going there as well.
You will reach the Everglades to the south within a 2 hour-ride, passing e.g. Fort Myers with the opportunity to visit the Edison&Ford Winter Estates.

Just some of the additional “things to do” – at the house we provide a detailed guide to the area:

-South Shetty on Casey Key: 10 minutes by car to the south. Take your time and observe dolphins, manatees, ospreys, pelicans, sandpipers, egrets, blue herons and much more. We even saw a manta ray on one of our bike tours over the island of Casey Key!
-You love to visit theatres, musicals, concerts, the ballet, the opera or a museum? This is just a small bit of what the area has to offer: Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Sarasota, Asolo Theatre Sarasota, Venice Little Theatre, The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art Sarasota, Asian Museum Sarasota, Salvador Dali Museum St. Peterburg, Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg, The Players Sarasota, Friday Evening Walk through the opened artist studios in Sarasota, Florida Studio Theatre Sarasota and of course all the open air concerts with all different styles of music.
