Fantastic river view apartment

The apartment was just as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable and the views over the river Danube were fabulous. It was great having the outdoor seating options on the balcony outside the kitchen and the large deck above overlooking the Danube. It is within walking distance of the very easy to use underground, the grocery store, cafes and other businesses. We joined a river cruise after we left and were able to just walk across the street from the apartment to pick up the boat. Karin and Dieter were always responsive and prompt in our communications with them. We enjoyed eating at The View café across the street on the Danube. Something a little unique to consider beyond the usual tourist sites is a tour of the United Nations across the river – very interesting! Our only very minor suggestion was to have a portable fan available as it did get a bit warm in the master bedroom despite having the windows open and would have saved using the air conditioner as much. All in all a fabulous place!

Spacious, quite luxurious and excellent location

Great apartment and we would stay again and recommend to anyone. Loved the area as so full of little food and eating places with an outdoor market on Saturday. Very close to Ubahn 1 which connects to all parts of the city and surrounding. Loved the view at night with all the lights on the bridge, the UN building and Harry Siedler's unique architecture. Great watching the barges up and down the Danube. We will visit again.

Vienna gem

We spent 3 nights here in Sept 2015- do not let the front door and "lobby" fool- once in the elevator- you enter a spacious- extremely bright -penthouse apt. with 2 terraces- one for coffee in the morning and another for wine in the evening overlooking the river. A wonderful kitchen-well equipped- and comfortable beds. A short walk through a lovely little park to the subway- very convenient-2 stops and you are in the centre. There is a lovely walk along the river- end up in Dieter's recommendation- Marina restaurant- great food and a lovely view

Home away from Home in Austria

The apartment was just wonderful, high end finishes and all amenities you'd ever need. Owners are the nicest people and are so wonderful and helpful. Beds are comfortable, lovely patio and rooftop patio. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Grocery stores are a very short walk around the corner and the Underground is a very short walk which will take you wherever you want to go.

Great Place to Stay in Vienna

Apartment looks better than the pictures. The apartment was very nice and very comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a great rooftop deck that overlooks the Danube...Gorgeous. Not much to do or see near the apartment but the train station is a short walk and then you can get just about anywhere in 10 -20 min.

Leopaldstadt penthouse

This is a fairly new listing, so there have not yet been a lot of tenants or reviews. The pictures of the apartment are accurate. It is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Dieter, the landlord, was easy to work with. He responded to my inquiries quickly and was always thoughtful and honest. I was traveling with my elderly mother, so I wanted to know in advance as much about the apartment as I could in order to make her visit an easy one. Although, I'm usually more comfortable working with Paypal payments, and I was a little uneasy transferring funds directly to an unknown landlord, there was no problem with payment of the deposit. The apartment was only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport and Dieter was downstairs to meet us and help with the luggage, which was very thoughtful. (He even arranged for our taxi upon departure). You should know that the apartment is located on a busy roadway and where it was totally safe and quiet, it does not put its best face forward on the ground floor. The front dorrway and the ground floor entrance passage and courtyard have not been updated, but don't let that put you off. Once you get in the large, by European standards, elevator and travel up to the top floor, everything is updated and spotless. The apartment itself is quite large with two seperate bedrooms, Both beds were very comfortable and there was lots of storage space. There were even hangers in the wardrobes, which are not always provided in rental apartments. The large bathroom had lots of hot water and really good water pressure. The seperate toilet had its own little hand sink - a very nice feature. Everything was spotless. The kitchen has everything one could need including an espresso machine, which I didn't use. I did use the electric kettle and didn't miss the lack of a microwave, as we limited our use of the kitchen to breakfast and snacks. The sofas in the living room were comfortable and the TV had a large number of news channels in a multitude of languages, so no one needs feel isolated from the outside world. The roof deck provides a wonderful 360 degree view of the Danube River and UNO City which was amazing. It's a lovely apartment and Dieter was wonderful to work with. I recommend it without reservation.
