The Finca Son Salvanet situated on a hill below the historic village of Valldemossa and is an ideal place for nature lovers and hikers. Over the years, the former estate, owned by the Mallorcan-German couple José-Antonio and Beate Serrano, has been extended and the traditional stone houses have been modernized, and six of them are now rented and personally managed as holiday homes.
The finca include 30 000 m² of this terraced land with mature trees, many orange, fig, olive, various fruit trees and vines and many, many ornamental plants and flowers.
But while walking on the finca you will also discover ancient sources from the Arab period, fish ponds and of course the swimming pool under palm trees and laurel trees with stone sculpture of a famous artist.

Each season here has its own charm: in January-February the almond trees blossom and the oranges are ripe. Then the blossom begins in May and bloom very many roses. Even in the summer to bloom warmest time with us always different flowers, as Ibisken and geraniums, and ripe fruit.
In autumn, the grapes are there and Pignonien and bougainvillea shine. In winter, the olives are harvested, the many evergreen trees and shrubs, mimosa and other flowers delight the visitors from the then barren and cold north especially.
In just a few minutes walk you are in the picturesque village of Valldemossa, in the former Charterhouse Chopin and George Sand spent a winter. You'll also find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Located 20 minutes from Palma with its particularly beautiful old town with its magnificent cathedral, many monuments and museums.
Not far from the finca, you can go on countless walks along the coast or in the Tramuntana mountains, recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several golf courses are within driving time in 10-30 minutes.
