I own and rent villas and real estate both in Mexico and the USA, some I have built and some I rehabbed it is my passion besides my family and dogs. I love to get everyone together at Casa Jacarandas and Casa Lily so we can eat, laugh, and poke fun at each other and really just enjoy each others company.
Ana Quadros purchased this house in 2005
We have been long time visitors and surfers coming to Puerto for over 25 years. Having traveled and surfed in many countries and islands around the world we came to Puerto and fell in love with the big waves, fun people and awesome local culture.
To us it has everything you need without being a tourist trap and also has a flavor that is an intangable feeling of well being, happiness, good friends and with a great local community. It's always fun, and I'm never bored here. With all the new people from Italy, Australia, Japan, USA, and many other countries, it has become a very cosmopolitan town because of the unique mix of people from the world over. The food is diverse, the languages many we love it and hope you will too.
I built this luxury home with the idea of taking advantage of the beautiful views of the beach, the surfers, and the storms that roll in off the ocean .
To me there is nothing better than coffee in the early morning and watching the whales and dolphins cruise by and watching the first surfers of the day hit the water .
We hope you enjoy this home as much as we do, it was built with love, the best ideas of Mexico, Australia and the USA. It has housed people from all corners of the world who are looking for something exceptional. Saludos ~ Maxine
We stayed in the house for one week with six persons and I have to say that it's just perfect. It is beautiful decorated and very complete in equipment. The roof top has an insane view of the whole beach and you see the surf from there. Also the house is very clean and the rooms are very big. We can highly recommend this property and definitely trying to come back as soon as possible!!
After seeing the pictures and reading the great reviews, I was so excited for my trip to Casa Jacaranda. The truth is, no picture or review could have ever prepared me for the way Puerto Escondido and Casa Jacaranda took my breath away. The views are absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. The house was gorgeous and very well kept. It truly is luxurious living at the beach. Every person on staff was helpful & extremely friendly. The only negative part of my vacation was that I didn’t stay long enough. Is forever too long? There are so many things to do and authentic Mexican culture to soak in nearby. I loved the feeling of being at one of the most beautiful places in the world, without being overcrowded or pressured into buying or doing things. I did spend plenty of time exploring in Puerto Escondido. However, some of my favorite memories from my stay are when I simply needed time to decompress & relax. I would float from the beach, to the pool, to the hammock, right into my comfy bed and let the sounds of the ocean and the sweet breeze sooth my soul. I am already homesick for a place I don’t live and cannot wait to return and share this experience with the rest of my family....... or maybe I will keep this treasure all to myself!
Staying at the Jacaranda was a dream come true, Luxury living by the beach, what more do I need to say. Personal Highlights; extensive views, amazing sunsets, daily swims in the pool, the resident kitties, deluxe ocean view kitchen, big cozy beds, good water pressure, I feel like I could go on and on, We just wanted to stay forever. The staff at the Jacaranda provided exceptional service, Anna was so sweet and accommodating, Norma's smile was a bright addition to any day! The house was well taken care of and felt very safe. Well worth the money! We are already planning our next visit - Thank you!!
Returning to Puerto after 30 years was better then we could have imagined. Although the community has grown substantially it has maintained the relaxed southern Mexico culture. The travel Gods were on our side as we were welcomed into Casa Jacaranda like family. Our thanks to the owners and their staff for providing such an exceptional and memorable vacation.
Everything was superb, couldn't ask for any more! Thanks to Norma, Anna, and Pat for the best surf trip in years!
Casa Jacaranda was beautiful, with the views from the upstairs deck amazing. We fell in love with meticulously cleaned house, and wonderful staff. If you want a great stay on the beach in Puerto, this is your house.
Casa Jacaranda is a two minute walk down to the beach and five minutes to the beach boulevard where there are great restaurants, stores, entertainments, events and much more. Our street is considered the best street on Zicatela beach with a great and famous coffee shop~ Dan Deluxe Cafe where all the locals and visitors have breakfast and a good cup of coffee. Yoga, Pilates, dancing and massage center is just a block from the house. There is also easy taxi access just a block from the house that can take you to any local attractions.
