We offer space to 130 m2 up to 7 people in three bedrooms, a large living room, 2 bathrooms / showers, kitchen and a large garden.

The Karoland located in the border region Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany. Wherever the Alpine Rhine from the source towards Lake Constance is on the way, the small village Sax is located in Switzerland. In this place surrounded by nature is the apartment Karoland.

This is the starting point for interesting activities in a wonderful environment!

Solid value, central location

We chose the apartment for a central location.

Landlord (Roland) was very helpful and informative, speaks good English.

This rents really allows you into see how people live in this area. It is not a hotel--it is a very well kept, large apartment, and is easy to get to in a car (the bus Stop is across the street, but we are Americans and drive everywhere). Don't expect air conditioning--it's not needed here even in July.

Apattment is about 12 km west of Lichtenstein and close to the M13, the major north-south highway. This made possible day trips to Munich and Milan. It also made it possible to grocery and gas shop in feldkirch, where prices are much lower than in Switzerland.

We spent three days in Liechtenstein, walking the Rhein and Vaduz. We also hiked the local mountains in east Switzerland and Liechtenstein. These activities were a 20 minute drive away.

All in all, more than we expected, even with the solid reviews.

A wonderful place with lovely hosts.

Roland and Katharina were great hosts. Their apartment was clean and well looked after, with all the necessary bits and bobs to make the stay easier. They were very accommodating of our bikes and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was perfect, looking over the valley towards Lichtenstein one way, and into the mountains the other. We definitely recommend!

Warum ist es am Rhein so schön?

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral, um viele Ausflugsorte zu erreichen. Nach Lichtenstein sind es 5 Kilometer, nach Bregenz/Österreich eine knappe halbe Stunde und in Deutschland(Lindau/Bodensee) ist 10 Minuten weiter entfernt.(mit dem Auto) Aber auch auf dem Fahrrad sind all diese Orte gut anzufahren. Und das letzte As sind die 120 Km bis zum San Bernadino, d.h. man ist in zwei Stunden im Tessin!!

Aber wir brauchten gar nicht dauernd das Weite suchen - das Gute liegt so nah, Sax ist ein kleines ruhiges Dorf umgeben von Wiesen und Feldern (Rheinebene), man hat aber auch einen guten Blick auf die Berge, die hinter Dorf und Wiesen ziemlich nahe sind. Wer mag, kann sich dort wandermäßig austoben, es gibt auch eine Seilbahn, die einem den Aufstieg abnimmt.

Katharina und Roland sind perfekte Gastgeber, Blumen in der Vase und Begrüßungsbier warten bereits bei der Ankunft auf die Gäste. Sie sind sehr hilfreich und bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Wer Lust hat selbst zu kochen (was bei den Restaurantpreisen in der SChweiz durchaus Sinn macht), findet eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit sämtlichen Utensilien vor, die das Herz jeder Hausfrau höher schlagen lassen. Das Wohnzimmer ist riesengroß, so dass man auch zu mehreren Leuten sich nicht auf die Füße tritt. Für den WInter gibt es sogar einen Kachelofen.

WIr waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt und können die Ferienwohnung ohne EInschränkung weiterempfehlen.

Gemütliche super ausgestatte Wohnung mit Liebe Vermieter.

Das Wilkommen von den Lieben Vermieter war sehr herzlich. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, geräumich und ausgestattet mit alles was man braucht und mehr. Unser Enkel von 3 Jahren alt konnte nach herzenslust spielen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal zurück.
