Set down the "quieter" end of Ohope with all the usual amenities such as a general store, children's park and wharf for fishing, as well as a popular restaurant and takeaways overlooking the harbour an easy walk away. If golf, stand-up paddle-boarding, kayaking, or surf-casting is your thing then the location of this property is ideal for you. A very safe area for children to cycle, scooter or use their skateboard. This property also boasts a swimming pool in the fully fenced back yard for those days when you just don't feel like getting sand between your toes, or dipping your body into salt water.

This property features an internal lift (by arrangement with the owner) for anyone with mobility issues and has no steps into the house through the front door.

We have expansive almost unobstructed views from the kitchen and living area of the house out to the ocean, with White Island directly in front of you clearly visible on clear days. Just as attractive are the stormy seas on the not-so-pleasant days - always a view no matter what day or time of the year.

Great stay in Ohope

We had an excellent stay - the house was spacious and perfect for a large family group. Lovely location near beach playgrounds and the general store. Highly recommend!

Great property across the road from beautiful Ohope beach. Everything was perfect, great big areas to relax, pool & all the facilities. Fantastic views. Host was lovely, great communication & no problems!

Wonderful getaway in great location

We spent 3 lovely days at this beautiful house in Ōhope. It had everything for all three generations - from the stunning views of the pacific from the balcony for the grandparents to the great swimming pool at the back for the grandchildren. It’s very well equipped and offers a really comfortable stay. And there was even a freshly baked chocolate in the fridge to sweeten our arrival. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous house in a top location

This house exceeded our expectations! It is so well set up and our family of four had more than enough space to really feel at home. We loved the big deck with the opening roof and amazing views of the ocean. The back area with the pool and games room was great fun. Everything is spot on from the comfy beds to the huge bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in. We loved being right across from the beach. Joanne was a fabulous host, easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the chocolate cake on arrival. Highly recommend this house, one of the best we've stayed in.
