Bryngolwg Cottage, upholds the Welsh meaning for Mountain or Hill View with views from the picturesque Kaweka Ranges and surrounding hills to Te Mata Peak. Closer views are across the paddocks with horses, sheep, goats and chickens nearby. An ideal location for a break to enjoy the countryside, while only minutes away from the town centre.
A perfect retreat for couples (two King beds available if preferred), family holidays or business trips.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under supervision due to farm animals nearby. A kennel and run is available upon request.
The cottage offers a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a generous sized garden with private, safe car parking. The property is fully fenced to keep children and pets safe.
We are nearby should you need help with anything during your stay.
Unfortunately due to the odd difficult guest, before choosing to book Bryngolwg Cottage please accept the fact this is a rural part of town and despite being very close to everything Napier City offers, we are on a street with no street lights and have a long driveway (this provides us with privacy) - we do not expect guests to mark us down for location when there are very obvious factors guests accept when choosing to stay in a rural part of town.
Similarly, we are only 7 minutes drive away from the CBD (10mins if you drive extra slow) or 10-15 minutes walk to the bus stops - if you take longer than that to get to the town centre by car you are going the wrong way. Again, this is not our fault or an excuse to complain about the location so please be mindful of such things when leaving feedback as we provide a very honest opinion of what we offer and where we are. Please only choose to stay here if you are happy with where we clearly show we are situated on the map provided.
