Fully self-contained 2 bedroom unit complete with wood burner (wood burner is available from May to September only) and electric heater for those brisk Taupo winters. Peaceful sheltered surroundings, relaxing environment, all you need for a great breakaway from a busy life. There are views of the Waikato River from the bedroom window and a walking/bike track nearby that leads to Spa Park where the adventure begins. Taupo CBD is approx 20min walk and 5min drive. Linen and bedding is provided. There is another unit attached that may be occupied at the same time. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS UNIT MEETS YOUR REQUIREMENTS BEFORE BOOKING. Special conditions: No smoking or vaping on premises. NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to leave the house tidy and clean and do the dishes and take out your rubbish before you leave. Ideal accommodation for our stay at Lake Tapao

Very pleasant stay

A lovely, quiet spot by the river. Very clean & tidy, with everything you may need. The location was very peaceful, but still convenient for Taupo town centre. The hosts, Lance & Sandra, were lovely and very helpful. Overall, it was a great stay. Would recommend.
