This farm bach offers a fantastic retreat on the beachfront with plenty of outdoor activity in its own right. You can have the best of both land and sea at your fingertips. Best swimming is at high tide or go for a farm walk to white sandy beaches, bring your mountain bike or your horse and explore the farm, feed the chickens and ducks, setup your own spacious cricket pitch, launch your boat in five minutes and catch dinner in 10, then BBQ the said fish by the tables out front, or simply relax on the deck with birdsong and a refreshing drink at hand... all this awaits you at Kotare Bach.
However, if you would rather take a drive, Coromandel town and surrounds also have lots to offer:
-Driving Creek Railway - a fantastic trip up to the 'Eyeful Tower' and their native wildlife sanctuary.
-The beautiful Kauri walk and the Waiau Waterworks, where whimsical wonders are worked with water, situated on the 309 road.
-Take a trip north to the Tongiaro Kiwi Retreat or go further north and liase with the Coromandel I-site to do the Stony Bay to Fletchers Bay walk.
-Most of the fishing charters operate from Hannafords Wharf and the sugarloaf, which are only 5 minutes drive from the bach!
-If you come back empty handed, there's a fish and chip shop ten minutes drive from the bach!
-Horse treks at lonestar in Colville or if you're keen do the K2 bike ride!
Come and explore this beautiful place from the most perfect location!
